EJ DiMera wakes up to find Belle watching him like a hawk. Her new detective method? Seeing if he spills secrets in his sleep. Nice try, Belle, but EJ isn’t one to mumble confessions into his pillow. When she accuses him of framing Jada, EJ calls her bluff—because he knows she’s making it up. Still, there’s something about their constant bickering that always ends up leading to… well, steamy make-out sessions. After another round of “this isn’t love, it’s just fun,” EJ gets serious for a moment, telling Belle that he genuinely cares for her. Will Belle buy into EJ’s softer side, or is this just another DiMera manipulation? Time will tell.

Before heading out, Belle stumbles upon an envelope for Kristen and hands it to EJ. Just what kind of trouble is Kristen stirring now? If history is any indicator, nothing good.

Jada’s Nightmare Continues—Until Javi Spills the Tea

Jada wakes up from what can only be described as the world’s most misleading dream—Rafe, on one knee, begging her to take him back. If only. Reality check: she’s alone, her reputation is in shambles, and The Spectator is still painting her as corrupt. Enter Steve, the ever-reliable father figure, checking in to make sure she’s holding up. While she appreciates the support, she tells him her case is in the capable hands of Shawn and JJ. Steve, however, is on another mission: tracking down Ava Vitali.

As if Jada’s day wasn’t already spiraling, she later runs into Javi, who has some truth bombs to drop. He finally tells her that Rafe cheated on her with a dancer. Just like that, any lingering hope she had for her ex shatters. Will Jada finally be able to move on now that she knows the truth? More importantly, will Rafe live to regret his choices? (Spoiler: probably.)

Speaking of bad choices, Rafe wakes up in a nightmare of his own—tied to a chair in an unfamiliar house. Meanwhile, downstairs, Ava is also being held captive, and she’s not exactly getting the VIP treatment. Her captor? None other than Mama Blake, who brings her breakfast like she’s serving up room service at the Salem Inn. Ava, unsurprisingly, isn’t interested in eggs and toast—she’s interested in getting the hell out of there. But Mama Blake isn’t budging. Ava’s gagged again, and Mama Blake leaves her to stew in frustration.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Rafe is still trying to figure out why he’s been abducted. When he accuses Mama Blake of working for EJ, she shuts that theory down real quick. She’s not in this for EJ—she’s doing it for her family. And judging by her tone, Rafe isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Kristen and Brady Face a Family Crisis

Over at the DiMera mansion, Kristen gets a call from Rachel, who’s busy playing kidnapper-in-training. Kristen, ever the doting mother, reminds her daughter that hostage-taking isn’t exactly a life skill she should be perfecting. But before Kristen can properly deal with Rachel’s extracurricular activities, Brady storms in with bad news: Child Protective Services is breathing down their necks. One more slip-up, and Rachel could be taken away. Kristen, naturally, freaks out. Because if there’s one thing Kristen doesn’t do, it’s losing.

Brady, however, is more concerned about finding Ava, and he’s not alone. Steve shows up, and the two men finally put the pieces together: Ava left a voicemail that could lead them straight to her location. The rescue mission is officially underway!

With their target locked in, Steve and Brady waste no time rushing to Aremid, where Ava is being held. Downstairs, Ava is still struggling against her restraints when, finally, her nightmare comes to an end—Brady bursts in and unties her. She’s free at last! But the drama isn’t over yet. Kristen, still in the thick of her own scheming, opens the mysterious envelope Belle found earlier. Inside? A vial. Just what kind of sinister plan does she have up her sleeve this time?
