That’s exactly what Anita Dupree has in mind as she summons her children to the country club for a “casual” breakfast—where, as always, no tea stays unsipped.

Nicole Dupree Richardson arrives first, effortlessly chic and effortlessly shady. The topic of conversation? Their missing-in-action sister, Dani, who’s still reeling from her ex-husband Bill leaving her for someone who probably still uses TikTok slang unironically. Anita, never one to mince words, reminds everyone that she always knew Bill was trash. “A pocket square and a law degree don’t make you respectable,” she quips.

Over in the Dupree political dynasty, former senator Vernon Dupree sits down with his grandson Martin, an openly gay congressman who’s clearly inherited the family’s ability to make things happen. Martin adores his grandfather but admits he’s feeling restless. “I want more,” he confesses. More what? Power? Influence? A scandalous romance? Only time will tell.

Dani Dupree vs. Hayley: Round 1

Dani finally arrives at the country club, only to be immediately confronted by Hayley, the woman who torched her marriage and then had the audacity to act like she’s an innocent bystander. Hayley, bless her delusional heart, even has the nerve to say she hopes to maintain a relationship with the Duprees. Dani listens for all of three seconds before verbally obliterating her. The message is clear: Hayley is about as welcome in Fairmont Crest as an off-brand handbag at a designer auction.

After shutting down the nonsense, Dani sits with her mother and sister. Nicole, in peak shady sibling form, casually reminds her that Bill has always been a cheating disaster. But this? Sleeping with their daughter’s best friend? Unforgivable.

Just in case anyone forgot why Bill is the worst, the show blesses us with a scene of him working his latest shady deal. When a desperate client asks for help getting his son out of legal trouble, Bill pulls a few strings—for free. But don’t be fooled. “You’ll owe me one,” he says, flashing his most villainous smirk. If that doesn’t scream future blackmail material, I don’t know what does.

Andre the Playboy Makes His Move

Over at Garland Memorial Hospital, fresh-faced nurse Ashley Morgan is celebrating her first day on the job. It’s all sweet and inspiring—until Andre Richardson, photographer and full-time flirt, crashes the moment. He doesn’t even try to be subtle about his interest in Ashley. Paging her boyfriend Derek? Because trouble is definitely coming to this love story.

Dani Dupree vs. Hayley: Round 2—And This Time, It’s Physical

Just when you thought Dani had already delivered enough verbal smackdowns for one episode, Vanessa drops the bombshell: Bill and Hayley aren’t just playing house—they bought one. In Fairmont Crest.
