Sasha’s Warning Shakes Deception and Ric Pushes Sonny Too Far
If you thought things were settling down in General Hospital, think again! Friday’s GH full episode recap was packed with enough drama, shade, and questionable decisions to last a lifetime. From Ric stirring the pot (because he can’t help himself) to Sasha putting Deception on notice, there’s plenty to discuss. Buckle up, because we’re breaking down every scandalous detail.
Sonny vs. Ric: The Battle of the Professional Instigators
Sonny Corinthos does not have time for Ric Lansing’s nonsense, and yet, Ric insists on making himself a problem. This time, he and Ava waltz into Bobbie’s like they own the place, fully aware that they are the least welcome people in the room.
Ric, being Ric, decides to stir things up by approaching Molly and Alexis with a sickeningly polite “hello,” which—let’s be honest—was never going to go over well. Meanwhile, Ava thinks she and Sonny are cool now, so she tries to smooth things over with Kristina.
Big mistake.
Kristina drags Ava harder than a Real Housewife at a reunion, reminding everyone that Ava killed her daughter and walked away without consequences. But Ric, because he never learns, swoops in to defend Ava, claiming that Kristina is just projecting guilt over what happened to Molly’s child.
Excuse me, what?!
Sonny is this close to punching Ric into next week, but Alexis intervenes before things turn into a full-blown brawl. Ric and Ava slither back to their table, but not before Ric gets in one last dig about Alexis playing favorites with her daughters. Classic Ric—deflecting from his own garbage personality by pointing out everyone else’s flaws.
Lucky's Back and Bored, But Not for Long
Over at General Hospital, Lucky Spencer is awake and already over it. He’s been knocking on death’s door so many times that he’s practically on a first-name basis with the Grim Reaper, but this time, he’s decided to stick around. Why? His son, his family… and Elizabeth.
Isaiah, his doctor and potential future therapist, reminds him that Elizabeth is a remarkable woman (as if he doesn’t already know). Later, Kristina stops by to thank him for exposing the truth about Sam. But talk quickly shifts to Jason and whether or not he “disappeared” Cyrus. Kristina, never one to mince words, basically says that if Jason took Cyrus out, good riddance. Lucky, ever the moral compass, says he doesn’t want to be responsible for ending a life—even if the guy totally deserved it.
Kristina isn’t buying it. As far as she’s concerned, Port Charles’ justice system is a joke, and Ava Jerome is proof of that. And honestly? She has a point.
Deception’s Business Deal? More Like a Disaster Waiting to Happen
Meanwhile, at The Metro Court, the Deception team is in crisis mode. Their zincite supplier has been snatched up by Enchantment, meaning they either find a new supplier ASAP or risk getting dragged in the cosmetics world. Enter Sidwell—aka, the literal worst person they could do business with.
Lucy, ever the hustler, thinks Sidwell might be their solution. Natalia and Maxie, however, are not convinced. Natalia knows Sidwell is bad news, and Maxie is pretty sure Lulu would be throwing hands if she knew what they were considering. But Lucy? She only hears zincite.
Cue Sasha storming in.
In a moment of pure boss energy, Sasha puts Sidwell on blast in front of everyone. She reminds them all that this man kidnapped her, held her at gunpoint, and almost got her blown up. So maybe—just maybe—Deception should reconsider doing business with him?
Sidwell, slimy as ever, plays it cool. He points out that despite all the allegations against him, no charges have ever been filed. (Which, in Port Charles, means absolutely nothing.) Lucy, ever the opportunist, still seems tempted. Maxie is horrified. Natalia looks like she wants to disappear into the floor.
Moral of the story? If you’re siding with Sidwell over Sasha, re-evaluate your life choice
Carly and Olivia to the Rescue
While Sasha is out here saving Deception from itself, Carly and Olivia have a different rescue mission in mind: saving Sasha from the Quartermaines.
Let’s be real—living in the Quartermaine mansion is like living in a soap opera within a soap opera. Sasha is over it. She tells Jason that Monica is already trying to dictate her child’s future, and she refuses to let the Qs control her. Jason, in a rare moment of financial generosity, offers to help her out, but Sasha is not about to take anyone’s money.
Enter Carly and Olivia. They propose an escape plan—a job at The Metro Court and a place to stay that isn’t filled with scheming Quartermaines. Sasha isn’t convinced yet, but let’s be real—anything is better than the constant power plays happening at that mansion.
Sonny Finally Takes Kristina’s Advice (Shocking, I Know)
Speaking of power plays, Sonny finally realizes that his current living situation isn’t exactly ideal for Donna and Avery. A hotel suite is not a home, and Kristina made sure he knew it.
So what does Sonny do? He calls someone he really doesn’t want to call. (Let’s take bets: Is it Carly? Jason? Maybe even Nina?) Either way, Sonny is making moves, and that can only mean one thing—Port Charles is about to feel the impact.
Who’s Winning and Who’s Losing in Port Charles This Week?
Winners:
Sasha – For putting Sidwell in his place and refusing to be controlled.
Kristina – For telling Ava exactly what she needed to hear.
Lucky – For deciding to stay and fight for what matters.
Losers:
Ric – For existing.
Sidwell – For thinking he could outmaneuver Sasha.
The Quartermaines – For treating Sasha like a pawn instead of a person.
And there you have it—another wild episode of General Hospital, packed with drama, bad decisions, and just enough sass to keep us coming back for more.
What are your thoughts? Should Deception ditch Sidwell? Will Sasha escape the Quartermaine chaos? And who did Sonny just call? Drop your theories in the comments!
