Wednesday’s Beyond the Gates full episode recap is packed with drama, denial, and a little bit of destruction. Dani insists she doesn’t have a drinking problem (as she clings to the kitchen floor), Ashley can no longer ignore the obvious, and Leslie? Well, she’s still scheming like it’s her full-time job. Let’s get into it.

Dani’s Rock Bottom? Just Another Wednesday
Let’s start with our resident mess, Dani. Andre walks into her house expecting, I don’t know, a normal conversation? Instead, he finds her unconscious on the floor, a bottle of vodka playing the role of her most loyal companion.
Naturally, she downplays it: “I don’t usually drink that much.” Right, Dani. And the sky isn’t blue.
Andre, being the concerned (and slightly exasperated) not-quite-boyfriend, helps her sober up. He won’t tell anyone what happened, mostly because she’s terrified of an intervention but also because—surprise, surprise—he doesn’t want to explain why he was at her place in the first place. Someone’s got secrets.

To her credit, Dani does what most people say they’ll do but don’t—she pours the rest of her vodka down the drain. Does this mean she’s serious about change? We’ll see.
Andre and Ashley: The Art of Wanting What You Can’t Have
After his unexpected detour into Dani’s drama, Andre swings by to see Nicole. She’s thrilled (note the sarcasm) to hear that he’s pushing his feelings for Ashley aside. That would be great news—if it were true.

Ashley, meanwhile, is living in her own personal soap opera. She’s got a literal firefighter of a boyfriend making her award-winning lasagna (excuse me, what award?), yet her mind is stuck on that almost-kiss with Andre.
The second Derek runs off to do heroic things, Ashley grabs a glass of wine and starts mooning over the sentimental collage Andre made her. Nostalgia or something more? I think we all know the answer.
Her solution? Get rid of the evidence. She hands the collage to her mom like it’s a cursed object, but the guilt? Oh, honey, that’s not going anywhere.

Hayley vs. The World (Or Just Fairmont Crest)
Elsewhere in town, Hayley is drowning in self-pity. No one in Fairmont Crest likes her, and instead of offering a meaningful solution, her fiancé Bill just shrugs and tells her to ignore the haters.
Hayley is not having it.

Bill & Hayley | BTG |
Her frustration boils over, and she suggests maybe, just maybe, they shouldn’t get married after all. But Bill, ever the smooth talker, diffuses the situation with a romantic dinner at home. Sure, it’s not a luxurious trip to Italy, but when has Bill ever been one to exceed expectations?
Leslie’s Master Class in Manipulation
While some people spend their evenings unwinding with reality TV, Leslie prefers a different brand of entertainment: chaos.
She convinces Eva to drop her plans and instead focus on their latest project—taking down the Richardsons. Since Eva has access to their house (bad idea alert), Leslie sees an opportunity.

Eva & Leslie scheme | BTG |
But first, there’s the matter of Tomás. Eva and Kat had a spat over him, and Leslie has some words: Stay away from that creeper. Honestly? Sound advice.
With that handled, they move on to phase two: targeting Ted Richardson. What better way to destroy a man than at his own anniversary party? Leslie wants Eva to orchestrate an event where Ted’s true colors will be on full display, and if there’s one thing we know about Leslie, it’s that she always gets what she wants.
Final Thoughts
Another episode of Beyond the Gates, another mess of feelings, bad decisions, and secret agendas. Dani’s in denial (shocking), Ashley’s in turmoil (less shocking), and Leslie? She’s just doing what she does best—ruining lives.
Until next time, BTG fans, stay tuned for more drama, because in Fairmont Crest, the chaos never sleeps.
