Johnny Unleashes Fury on EJ – And It’s About Time
We start the day in Salem with EJ doing what he does best—trying to clean up a mess with words. He apologizes to Chanel (because honestly, he’s always apologizing to someone) just before Johnny storms in and clocks him right in his DiMera face. “You son of a bitch. I know what you did.”

Tuesday's Spoilers from Soap Opera Reviews
Oh, Johnny, baby, we all know what EJ did. But please, continue.
EJ, caught off guard and clearly shaken, attempts to defend himself. But Johnny isn’t here to discuss minor sins—he’s here to talk about the bombshell Kate dropped on him: that his very existence is rooted in one of EJ’s most disgusting power plays. Johnny lays out all the grim details, reminding his father that his mother, Sami, was coerced into sleeping with him to save Lucas’ life. EJ tries to keep the situation under control (because control is his favorite word), but Johnny isn’t letting this slide.
When Johnny spits out the words “The only reason I exist is because my father raped my mother,” Chanel looks like she just walked into a horror movie. And honestly? Same, girl, same.
EJ goes for the classic move of blaming Stefano—because when in doubt, blame Daddy DiMera. But Johnny isn’t buying it. He goes for the jugular, saying he was never really wanted, just his stem cells were. Ouch. Not only does Johnny disown his father, but he also bans him from ever seeing his grandchild. Brutal, but deserved.
EJ, left emotionally wrecked, stumbles out the door and collapses into tears. Looks like karma finally came knocking.
Paulina Fixes Her Mistakes—And Hands Jada Her Job Back
While Johnny is out here ripping his newly discovered father to shreds, Paulina is on cleanup duty after making a mess of Jada’s life. She informs Jada and Rafe that Belle is stepping back from EJ’s case (shocker!), and then, in a rare moment of clarity, reinstates Jada as commissioner. Turns out, the accusations that got Jada fired weren’t exactly…legit.
Jada and Rafe, feeling victorious, immediately go back to work. They need to bring down EJ, and Jada has a sneaky suspicion that Ava might have some useful dirt. Turns out, Ava previously accused EJ of being involved in her kidnapping, and Jada believes Rachel Blake might have been the one to blackmail him into it.
Their next move? Heading to Aremid to dig up some long-buried secrets.
Melinda Gives Ava a Deadly Gift
Speaking of Ava, she’s minding her own business at the Bistro when Melinda sashays in, ordering a martini like she owns the place. The tension is thicker than Brady’s skull, but things take a turn when Melinda hands over a gun. That’s right, she just casually slides a weapon across the table, wrapped in a napkin like it’s a dinner roll.
Melinda’s logic? She doesn’t need it anymore, but Ava sure does. Because in Salem, guns are apparently the new friendship bracelets.
Rachel Blake, The Unhinged Queen, Plots Yet Again
Meanwhile, in a classic “like mother, like daughter” moment, Rachel Blake is snooping through an attic for—what else?—a gun. Because why de-escalate when you can escalate? Kristen busts in, catching her mom mid-crime, and demands to know what she’s planning.
Rachel plays it off like it’s totally normal to be searching for firearms, but Kristen isn’t buying it. Just as things get heated, Jada and Rafe show up, ready to grill Kristen about EJ’s involvement in Rafe’s captivity.
But Kristen, always playing her cards close to the chest, refuses to talk. Jada makes it crystal clear: if Rachel keeps acting shady, she’ll be coming back with a warrant.

Belle & Brady: The Messy Duo We Can’t Escape
Belle is seriously considering kicking EJ out when Brady and Rachel return home. Brady, clearly in full “protective dad” mode, explains that he brought Rachel home because her grandmother has officially gone off the rails.
Belle plays therapist for a minute, telling Brady he’s making the right choice (because validation is key), but Brady has bigger concerns. Namely, his latest drama with Ava. Belle, trying to dodge her own mess, lets it slip that she and EJ hooked up again.
Brady immediately clocks this for what it is: addiction. “You need DiMera Anonymous,” he jokes, before rolling his eyes so hard they might get stuck.
Meanwhile, Rachel, completely oblivious to the drama swirling around her, just wants someone to read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory before bed. Priorities, kid. Priorities.

Jada and Rafe Swear to Crack the Case
In our final moments, Jada and Rafe are still on the hunt for answers. Ava hesitates about keeping the gun Melinda gave her, but in true Salem fashion, she accepts it. Because when has rejecting a gun ever been the smart choice in this town?
Meanwhile, Jada is done playing games. She makes it clear: someone is going down for what happened to Rafe. And if it’s not EJ, then Rachel better watch her back.
And with that, the episode ends—leaving us on the edge of our seats, as always.
Friday's DOOL Full Episode Recap from Soap Opera Reviews
Final Thoughts
Monday's episode of Days of Our Lives delivered drama, devastation, and just the right amount of chaos. Johnny gave EJ the verbal smackdown we’ve all been waiting for, Jada and Rafe are finally putting the pieces together, and Rachel Blake continues her descent into criminal mastermind territory. With the walls closing in on EJ, it’s only a matter of time before Salem’s most notorious villain finds himself behind bars—or worse. I feel a who-dunnit coming on...
But let’s be honest—this is DOOL. Nothing is ever that simple.
