General Hospital Full Episode Recap - Thursday, March 6, 2025

Blackmail, Secrets, and a Whole Lot of Drama

Thursday’s episode of General Hospital served up a piping-hot dish of deception, blackmail, and power struggles. From Portia’s desperate maneuvers to Tracy’s never-ending feud with Sonny, every character was busy stirring the pot. And let’s not forget Lulu, who’s holding onto a secret that could detonate Dante’s life.

Portia’s Web of Lies Just Got Stickier

Portia's web of lies | ABC

Portia is in full-on panic mode, and honestly, she should be. Ric drops in just in time to hear her sob story about Heather, Brad, and Drew, and how they’re all dangling this blackmail noose around her neck. She tells Ric she fessed up to Curtis about some of her misdeeds—but conveniently left out the blackmail part. Priorities, right?

Ric, ever the strategist, tells her to keep Curtis in the dark and string Drew along. Portia, being the queen of bad choices, agrees and promptly gets back to work manipulating the situation. When Drew comes sniffing around again, she promises to play ball—so long as he keeps his mouth shut. We’ll see how long that lasts.

Sonny's New Digs and More Family Drama

Alexis is floored when she finds out Sonny snatched up Valentin’s old house. Why? Who knows. But apparently, it’s just a pit stop until his beloved penthouse gets a facelift. More importantly, Alexis has some paperwork for Gio’s educational trust. Because when Sonny’s not out wreaking havoc, he’s apparently in the business of setting up college funds.

Meanwhile, Tracy is not having it. She all but spits fire at Sonny, accusing him of tainting Gio with his "blood money." Sonny, unfazed as ever, gets Gio to sign the papers, effectively shutting Tracy down. Even Lois tries to smooth things over, but let’s be real—Tracy’s grudge against Sonny isn’t going anywhere.

Sidwell and Natalia Face Off

If anyone thought Natalia was going to roll over and let Sidwell take over Deception, think again. He claims he just wants to "work together," but Natalia isn’t buying what he’s selling. She straight-up accuses him of planning a hostile takeover. He swears he’s a changed man, but let’s be real—once a schemer, always a schemer.

Then Alexis waltzes in, ready to throw shade at Sidwell too. She lets him know she’s not a fan (join the club, girl), but before things get too heated, he drops a bombshell. He found a knife on the property. And not just any knife—possibly the knife Helena used to slit Alexis' mother’s throat. Casual, right?

Drew’s New Program and Oscar’s Legacy

Drew, ever the do-gooder, is rolling out a pediatric sports program in honor of Oscar. Liz is on board as the hospital liaison, and Trina and Kai are getting involved too. It’s a touching moment, but let’s be honest—Drew’s got bigger problems, like Portia playing him like a fiddle.

Over at the hospital, Felicia rushes in with James, who’s sporting a freshly broken arm. Isaiah gets him patched up, but the real moment of the day? James running into Kai and turning into a full-blown fanboy. Cute, but let’s hope he doesn’t break another arm in excitement.

Lulu’s Secret Could Blow Up Dante’s Life

Lulu is playing detective and what she’s uncovered is a nuclear-level bombshell: Dante has another child. She runs straight to Carly to debate whether she should tell him. Carly, the queen of secret-keeping, tells Lulu to zip it. After all, this kid is all grown up, and dropping this truth bomb would do nothing but set lives on fire.

Lulu, of course, isn’t so sure. She argues that the child is Rocco’s brother and has deep ties to both the Quartermaines and Sonny. Carly isn’t budging, reminding Lulu that secrets like these can be life-ruining (hello, Michael and Jason debacle). Lulu is left stewing, but let’s be real—she’s probably going to blurt it out sooner rather than later.

Tracy Refuses to Back Down

If anyone thought Tracy would quietly let things go, they clearly don’t know her. Gio tells her someone is keeping tabs on the property, but surprise—Tracy hired them. She’s determined to keep that crypt where it is, and nothing is going to stand in her way.

Then Sonny walks in, much to Tracy’s irritation. He’s just there to get a signature from Gio, but Tracy refuses to sign anything without inspecting every last detail. When she finally sees it’s just about the educational trust, she huffs and hands it back.

Tracy isn’t impressed with Sonny, but she does take a moment to admire Gio for standing up for himself. That’s about as close as she’ll get to a compliment, folks.

Secrets, Lies, and Power Moves

Thursday’s General Hospital episode was a masterclass in manipulation. Portia is running a scam to save herself, Lulu is sitting on a truth bomb, and Tracy is keeping Sonny on his toes. Meanwhile, Sidwell may or may not be planning a hostile takeover, and a decades-old murder weapon just made a surprise appearance.
