Carter, still clinging to whatever scraps of loyalty he has left, tries to defend Hope, but Steffy shuts him down fast. “A line about fake morals?” she scoffs. “Yeah, I can ignore that.” Brooke pleads for a fair resolution, but Steffy’s already moved on. Hope is out, and that’s final.

Unfortunately for her, Steffy still holds all the cards. She warns Carter that if he walks out that door, he may never get another chance. Ridge, always the voice of reason (or at least trying to be), tells Carter that siding with Hope again would be a big mistake.
And just like that, Hope is gone, her career in shambles, and the Forresters are back in control.
