The Young and the Restless Full Episode Recap | Young Love, Pillow Fights & Traci gets a Clue - Wednesday, March 26, 2025 [SPOILERS]

It’s a brand-new day in Genoa City, and you already know drama is being served up hotter than Kyle’s room-service breakfast. Wednesday’s The Young and the Restless full episode recap includes fake sick days, family feuds, and a twisted kidnapper’s mind games taking center stage.

Traci might be on to Alan | Y&R, CBS SONY

Kyle and Claire: Playing Hooky and Feeling Frisky

Kyle wakes Claire up with a neck kiss, and she immediately freaks out about being late for work. But let’s be real, Kyle has zero concerns about trivial things like employment. He sweet-talks her into staying, offering up some closet space as if that’s the ultimate declaration of love. (Sir, it’s called a lease—try harder.)

Kyle wants Claire play hooky with him | Y&R

Meanwhile, Kyle has an epiphany: he wants to show Claire just how special she is. How? By having a cozy little day together instead of adulting. Claire hesitates for about 0.2 seconds before giving in. Must be nice.

Jack and Nikki: Spilling Truth Bombs Over Coffee

Jack runs into Nikki at Society and is all smiles about how well things are going at Chancellor. But Nikki—ever the sharp one—calls him out. Are you really happy about that, though? Because let’s be honest, Jack relishes a good grudge against Victor. And speaking of grudges, she reminds him that Victor and Jill essentially pulled the rug out from under Billy. Jack, however, is shockingly zen about it. (Is this character growth? Maybe. Will it last? Probably not.)

Phyllis, Nick, and Summer: Therapy, But Make It Coffee-Fueled

At the club, Nick and Summer grill Phyllis about her little chit-chat with Sharon. Phyllis clarifies that no, they’re not besties, but they also aren’t at each other’s throats anymore. Progress! Nick, ever the optimist, is proud of her. Summer, ever the realist, reminds her mom that she does have a tendency to get a little out of control. Understatement of the century.

Phyllis reflects on how much hate consumed her. She was so busy holding grudges that she didn’t even see the mess she had become. Now, she just wants peace—well, at least until the kidnapper is caught. Priorities!

Sharon and Traci: Psychological Warfare 101

At Crimson Lights, Traci checks in on Sharon, who is still rattled by the whole being kidnapped and forced to play deranged games situation, who wouldn't be after back-to-back abductions. Understandable. Sharon tells Traci she won’t feel safe until the psycho behind it is caught.

As they chat, Sharon lets something slip—whoever this twisted kidnapper is, they clearly have a background in psychology. Traci’s writer brain kicks into overdrive. This isn’t just some random maniac; this is someone who knows them. Creepy.

Kyle and Claire: Sick Day Shenanigans

Back at Kyle’s suite, Claire starts feeling guilty about skipping work. Kyle, ever the enabler, pulls out the you’re running hot card and convinces her to call in sick. No meetings, no deadlines, just room service and flirting. Ah, young love.

He orders a ridiculous breakfast spread before launching into a full-fledged pillow fight with Claire. Because nothing says mature adult relationship like a feathery battle before pancakes.

Jack and Nikki's Coffee Talk

Jack continues his heart-to-heart with Nikki, marveling at how Billy has found himself, Lily is thriving, and Nikki is exactly where she’s meant to be. If only Victor would stop interfering in Kyle and Claire’s relationship, peace might actually be possible. (As if Victor Newman knows the meaning of the word peace.)

Speaking of meddling, Nikki assures Jack that she’ll keep Victor in check when it comes to Kyle and Claire. Jack isn’t holding his breath, but hey, it’s a nice sentiment.

Nicki makes a promise to Jack | Y&R

Sharon and Phyllis: Frenemies Turned Crime-Fighters?

Sharon and Phyllis—yes, Sharon and Phyllis—share a moment at the club. An inside joke, even. (Who had Sharon and Phyllis bonding on their 2025 storyline bingo card?)

Phyllis & Sharon share an inside joke | Y&R

Phyllis admits that Sharon saved her life, and for once, she’s able to see past their history. But nightmares of their ordeal still haunt her. The only way to move forward? Find the kidnapper and make sure they never terrorize anyone again.

Meanwhile, Traci has her own suspicions. As Sharon recounts how she and Phyllis set off an alarm that triggered a gas release, Traci’s mind flashes back to a suspicious text she saw on Alan’s phone that said there was a gas leak. Coincidence? Uh, no!

The Breakfast Club: Corporate Edition

Kyle and Claire finally text their bosses with their fake food poisoning excuse. Jack and Nikki, fully aware that their employees are just playing hooky, let it slide. What’s a little white lie between family?

Their replies come in simultaneously: No worries. Young love has its perks.

Sharon’s New Plan: Enter Alan

Sharon suggests that she and Phyllis seek out Alan’s help. He’s brilliant, insightful, and might just be the missing piece in this twisted puzzle. If anyone can help them crack the case, it’s him. Or at the very least, he might provide a lead that can bring them one step closer to taking this kidnapper down. Is Sharon still on PCP?!

Traci’s Breakdown: A Mistake of Epic Proportions?

Has Traci figured out Alan is the kidnapper | Y&R

Just as we think we’re done with the drama, Traci leaves a very telling voicemail for Alan. She needs to deal with her publisher before meeting him in Paris, but her tone screams something else entirely. The moment she hangs up, she whispers to herself, "This just can’t be." Just in time, big brother Jack walks in. Looks like Traci may finally be onto Alan.
