Phyllis Summers is many things—fabulous, fearless, and absolutely not here for Billy Abbott’s latest harebrained scheme. And honey, she lets him know it.
"Oh, so we’re just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic now?" she snaps at Billy, who has the audacity to sit there acting like this business move isn’t a disaster waiting to happen. She didn’t sign up for this reckless gamble on some millionaire’s whim—she wanted to build Abbott Communications, not participate in Billy’s latest kamikaze mission.

Adam Drops a Bombshell at the Newman Ranch
Over at the Newman ranch, the whole fam-damn-ily gathers because Adam has apparently summoned them like he’s Genoa City royalty. Vikki, Nick, Nikki, and Victor all stare at him like, "What now?" Adam doesn’t keep them waiting—he and Chelsea are officially back together. Again. Victor practically bursts into applause, thrilled that his favorite son is behaving himself (for now). Nick and Vikki manage some polite congratulations before rushing off to pop the champagne. Meanwhile, Abby is apparently still on the Newman blacklist, because no one even considers calling her to join the family bonding moment.
Abbott Investigations: The Case of Alan
Traci, Jack and Chance put their heads together over the latest suspicious activity surrounding Alan and Traci. The timing of everything is too perfect to be a coincidence, and neither of them are thrilled with the idea of Traci running off to Paris to play detective. "Can you get ‘Alan’ to come here instead?" Jack suggests, proving he still has a few good ideas left in him.

Jack & Traci meet with Chance about Alan | Y&R |
Meanwhile, Phyllis is still trying to knock some sense into Billy. "Let me get this straight—you’re telling me this isn’t about revenge against Victor and Jill? You’re just coincidentally trying to take back Chancellor?" Sure, Billy, sure. And just when Phyllis thinks they’re finally on a healthy path, along comes Aristotle Dumas, dangling power in Billy’s face like a cat toy.
Victor Plays Matchmaker (Again)
Back at the ranch, Adam and Chelsea are basking in their romantic reunion, and Victor couldn’t be happier if he tried. "When’s the wedding?" he asks, grinning ear to ear, and Adam and Chelsea share a look like, Oh hell no. Chelsea quickly clarifies that there is no wedding planned, but the way Victor operates, he might just send out invitations anyway.
The Kidnapper is Laughing in Our Faces
Chance lays out his theory—whoever kidnapped Sharon and Phyllis isn’t worried about getting caught. In fact, they’d probably enjoy the attention. "This person is arrogant," Chance explains, and honestly, we love a self-aware villain. Meanwhile, Billy was sent a literal receipt in the form of a photo of Sharon and Phyllis in captivity, linking to the clinic where they were held. "So we were supposed to find them," Jack realizes. The plot thickens.

Phyllis is DONE With Billy’s Secrets
Phyllis is done playing games. "So let me get this straight—you won’t tell me why Dumas is so interested in this, and you expect me to just trust you?" She stares at Billy like he’s just asked her to co-sign a loan for him. "I was excited about this fresh start for me and Daniel. And now? You want me to put my faith in some mystery billionaire clown? Absolutely not." Billy insists that the time isn’t right to share the details, which is basically Abbott-speak for "I don’t actually know what’s going on."
Jack Meddles (Again)
Meanwhile, Jack does what he does best—meddles. He calls Alan to invite him back to Genoa City for Traci’s wedding at the newly remodeled Abbott mansion. Alan, ever the smooth talker, agrees immediately. "See you soon," Jack announces.
Traci Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands
Traci is having none of Jack’s overprotective older brother routine. "I have to find out who Alan really is," she insists, and Jack’s not loving the way this is heading. "You’re setting yourself up as bait," he warns. Traci doubles down. "This is MY life, and I will handle it MY way." And with that, Jack realizes he’s lost this argument before it even started.
The Newmans are Skeptical
Back at the ranch, Nikki and Vikki issue a gentle "Are you sure about this?" to Chelsea, who insists that Adam has changed. "The struggles with Connor have made him a better man," she says, and Nikki and Vikki share a look that says, Mmm-hmm, we’ve heard that one before.
Nick, ever the voice of reason (for once), shuts down any speculation about him and Sharon. "Let’s not push it," he tells the group. Adam, always ready for some brotherly antagonizing, reminds everyone that when Victor likes a relationship, it flourishes—but when he doesn’t? It gets stomped on like dead leaves in autumn. "Be grateful Dad approves—and stay out of my life," Nick fires back. Family bonding at its finest.
Sally Sees Through Billy’s Nonsense
Meanwhile, Billy finally drags himself home, where Sally is not impressed by his vanishing act. "Where have you been all night?" she demands. Billy groans—he’s already had this conversation with Phyllis. "I was at a business meeting." "With Phyllis?" Sally shoots back. Billy explains that Dumas made him a very interesting offer. "And that is...?" Sally raises a skeptical brow. But surprise, surprise, Billy still isn’t ready to share details. Sally is officially done with these vague, trust-me-baby responses. "Anyone who hides their identity that hard is probably hiding a lot more than that," she warns. And honestly? She has a point.
Phyllis Starts Digging
At the club’s bar, Phyllis is scrolling through her phone, searching for dirt on Aristotle Dumas. And guess what? There’s NOTHING. Not a single photo. Not a single suspicious social media post. "Weird," she mutters, eyes narrowing. Who the hell is this guy? If there’s one thing we know about Phyllis, it’s that she never backs down from a mystery.
Jack Draws the Line
Back at the Abbott house, Jack lays down the law. "This man almost took our sister from us—I will NOT let that happen again." Traci, tears in her eyes, is firm. "Then help me find out who Alan really is."
And just like that, the plot is set for a full-on Abbott investigation.
Coming Up Next Week on Y&R
Lily storms into Damian’s office, demanding to know what he and his boss, Aristotle Dumas, are really up to. Chloe schemes to get Phyllis out of Billy’s orbit for good (because we love a devious bestie). And Lauren delivers the ultimate shocker to Nikki: "I need you to betray your husband."
