Steffy tells Liam he's dying | B&B, CBS |
Steffy Refuses to Take "Dying" for an Answer
At the cliff house, our queen of denial, Steffy Forrester, is hit with the kind of news no one wants: Finn tells her that her ex Liam has a mass on his brain, and honey, it’s not a little headache situation. Steffy, of course, isn't about to sit back and let medical facts ruin her day. Nope. Homegirl goes full Titanic mode: she refuses to believe Liam could be dying. After all, he was just twirling Kelly around like a Disney prince at a daddy-daughter dance. How dare reality intrude?
Meanwhile, in Kelly’s bedroom, Liam is struggling to even read a bedtime story because—surprise—blurry vision and brain tumors don’t mix. Instead, he spins a story about a little girl (guess who) with superpowers fueled by kindness. It’s sweet, it’s heartbreaking, and it’s exactly the kind of moment B&B loves to set up before ripping out our hearts. Liam promises Kelly that he’ll always be with her. Insert your ugly cry here.

Finn Lays It Out
While Steffy is trying to rewrite science with sheer willpower, Finn stays clinical. He gently reminds her that not only is the mass inoperable, but it’s been there longer than anyone realized. The fall at Bill’s just exposed the real enemy lurking in Liam’s brain. No, Steffy, you can’t punch it away. No, a dance recital isn’t going to cure him. Finn gently, painfully, crushes her hope while Steffy sobs about all the life Liam’s going to miss out on.
Steffy, being the absolute warrior that she is, declares that she’s the one who has to tell Liam. Because if this show has taught us anything, it’s that when it rains, it absolutely pours on your favorite characters.
Eric Reminds Ridge What’s Up After Chatting with Brooke
Over at Forrester Creations, Eric is on a whole different wavelength. He’s busy taking business calls and generally being fabulous when Brooke Logan saunters in, pining for Ridge like it’s 1995. Brooke is practically sparkling with nostalgia, gushing about how much she and Ridge belong together. She even drags up Portofino—yes, the magical gown moment that lives rent-free in every B&B fan’s head.

Eric & Brooke | B&B |
Eric, the OG of no-nonsense, isn’t here for Ridge’s nonsense either. When Ridge struts in, acting like he’s so busy being CEO and emotionally unavailable, Eric doesn't mince words. He straight up calls Ridge out for dumping Brooke just because she snagged a temporary title. Petty much? Eric shows Ridge the photo of Brooke in that legendary gown, and you can literally see Ridge fighting for his last brain cell as he stares at it. Yeah, Ridge, you messed up. Again.
Breaking Liam's Heart: Steffy Finally Tells the Truth
Back at the cliff house, Steffy preps for the conversation of her life. When Liam comes out asking innocent questions, Steffy’s tear-streaked face says it all: this is going to be bad. Real bad.
Finn wisely ducks out to check on Kelly, giving Steffy the stage to deliver the ultimate gut punch. She starts by praising Liam for making Kelly feel like a princess. She clutches his hand like it’s the last lifeboat on the Titanic and struggles to keep it together. Liam’s confused, concerned, and dealing with a splitting headache, but he pushes her to spill.
And then, she says it: there’s a mass on his brain. It's inoperable. And just like that, Steffy shatters Liam’s world. He repeats her words like maybe, if he says them out loud, they’ll sound less terrifying. They don’t.
Steffy, sobbing and shaking, confirms the worst: Liam is dying.
