Beyond the Gates Full Episode Recap | Ted Spills it all to Andre - Friday, April 11, 2025 [SPOILERS]

Welcome to your Friday dose of drama from Beyond the Gates, where no secret stays buried, no wig is left un-sniffed, and everyone’s boundaries are basically decorative. This full episode recap of BTG is loaded with scandal, side-eyes, and savage reality checks. Let’s break down the latest chaos, shall we? Ted finally coughs up his sins (to Andre!), Dani gets a reality check (again), and Doug’s gambling problem takes a scalpel-sharp turn.

Andre learns all of Ted's secrets | BTG, CBS

Samantha Tries It… and Dani Tries It Harder

Samantha, sweetie, you really thought you were slick with your little modeling scheme, didn’t you? She arranged for Chelsea to manage her career without telling her parents—because nothing screams success like secret deals behind your Dads' backs. Enter Dani Dupree, ever the queen of ambition and delusion, popping up like a fabulous tornado in the middle of Samantha’s living room.

Dani claims she’s the woman to launch Samantha into stardom. And honestly? We almost believed her—until Chelsea walked in, and the whole plan blew up in Samantha’s perfectly glossed face. When confronted, Sam sheepishly admits she asked Chelsea first, and Dani, though visibly miffed, takes her leave.

But don’t cue the applause just yet—Dani may look like she’s leaving gracefully, but a heart-to-heart with Chelsea proves otherwise. Turns out, even Dani realizes when she’s crossed a line. Mark your calendars, folks—this is what self-awareness looks like in the wild.

Leslie and Her Wig Collection Are Back at It

Over at Garland Memorial, Leslie is playing Nurse of the Year—but not officially, of course, because that would be legal. Eva is sniffing around, clearly sensing something is rotten in the hospital ward. When she questions Shanice about the new nurse tending to Laura, Shanice basically calls her nosy. (Fair, but also: valid nosiness.)

Eva heads home only to find Leslie, once again, donning another discount disguise. This time, Eva’s not letting it slide. She calls her out for pretending to be Laura’s nurse, to which Leslie responds, “Only a clown would think I’d do something like that!” Ma’am, we’ve seen the wigs. That ship sailed 20 episodes ago.

Leslie tries to spin the whole thing like she’s just a concerned mom doing her best—but Eva is done with the gaslighting. She lets Leslie know in no uncertain terms: if she crosses a line, Eva will be dragging her back by the wig cap.

Nicole’s Past Trauma Resurfaces (and Ted Is Sweating)

While Andre is editing documentary footage like he’s aiming for an Emmy, Ted casually eavesdrops and stumbles upon a gut-punch from Nicole’s interview. She talks about the deep emotional toll of her job—including a miscarriage and the gut-wrenching moment she couldn’t find her husband when their baby spiked a fever.

Ted, suddenly looking like he just got hit with a subpoena, knows exactly what night she’s talking about. And spoiler: he was not stuck in traffic. More likely, he was tangled up in Leslie’s web of chaos.

You can bet your last poker chip that he’ll make sure that confession never sees the light of day. He’s already plotting how to “accidentally” delete the footage from Andre’s hard drive. But karma’s just getting warmed up.

Ted's Shocking Confession: More Than Anyone Asked For

Out of nowhere, Ted decides to hold an unlicensed therapy session with Andre—and boy, does he over-deliver. He unloads his entire highlight reel of trash decisions: the affair, the abortion (alleged, of course), and the casual $50,000 he shelled out to make Dana disappear like a bad Yelp review.

Andre, who once thought Ted was basically a saint in scrubs, sits there looking like someone just told him Santa’s not real and stole his lunch. Ted insists Nicole never found out and, with all the confidence of a man who’s never seen a soap opera before, prays she never does.

Later, Leslie (ever the emotional hand grenade) tries to call Ted, but he’s not touching that disaster. So what does she do? Oh, nothing much—just threatens to channel her inner Glenn Close and vows she will not be ignored. The woman is two episodes away from boiling a rabbit, and we are here for it.

Doug’s Gambling Spiral Hits the OR

Meanwhile, Doug is on a winning streak at the casino, which of course means he’s seconds away from losing everything. Joey notices the signs, but before he can stage an intervention, Doug gets called in for emergency surgery.

Spoiler alert: you probably don’t want a surgeon with a poker hangover slicing you open. Shanice takes one look at him and knows something’s off. During the procedure, Doug gets shaky and bounces before he can make a fatal error. At least he’s self-aware enough to call it quits… for now.

Later, Doug confesses to Randy that he has to stop gambling altogether. If he sticks to that, we’ll eat our hats. Until then, let’s just pray he’s not scheduled for any major operations.

Vanessa Is Falling for Joey, But Let’s Be Honest—He’s Trouble

Uptown, Vanessa is enjoying her usual selection of fine male attention. After brushing off a late-night text from Diego (which, to be fair, was probably more body than brains), she gets an unexpected visit from Joey.

He comes bearing sad ex-husband energy, saying his marriage fell apart because he was married to his career. Vanessa, never one to resist a wounded man with great eyebrows, listens intently. Their conversation gets a little too cozy, and before you know it, she’s practically leaning into his trap.

Whether she knows it or not, Vanessa is already halfway down the rabbit hole. Joey knows what he’s doing. And Vanessa? She knows she likes it.
