Dani Dupree Dumped in Public & She's Not Having It
Well, well, well… look who’s getting professionally ghosted — again. Dani Dupree in full meltdown mode as Anita goes full Mafia Mama, and Samantha tries to smize her way out of parental control. Let's get into this BTG bombshell, shall we?

Dani, still high on the fumes of her own fabulous fashion show, shows up expecting applause and business chats with the grant board. What she gets instead? A pink slip in designer packaging. That’s right — Hannah, with all the grace of a lukewarm decaf latte, lets Dani know the board is done with her. Fired. Axed. Removed like an acrylic nail after three weeks. Why? Her behavior has been deemed “unacceptable.” Cute.
But Dani doesn’t go down quietly. In fact, she blasts the board for squeezing every last bit of publicity and money out of her before dropping the axe. And when she throws Hannah under the bus with, “If anyone is a lousy role model, it’s you,” it’s the verbal slap that shook the club. Honestly, she’s got a point.
Hayley’s Lunch Is One Big Yikes
Meanwhile, Hayley’s also at the country club, trying to eat in peace but getting served a whole mess instead. And by “served,” we mean… not at all. The waiter straight-up refuses to acknowledge her existence. We're talking ghosted in real time, at a restaurant, while sitting down. Bill has to order for both of them just to get a salad. Insane? Yes. Surprising? Not really.
But don’t worry, because drama is always on the menu. Dani’s public firing happens within full view, and Hayley watches it go down like it’s dinner theater. She even tries to poke the bear, getting in Dani’s face with some smug little jabs and a kiss for her newlywed. But Dani, who is not here for Hayley’s starter-wife energy, shuts it down: “What happened today was a minor setback… and I already have a plan to get back on top.”

Samantha’s Modeling Dreams Divide the Dads
Across town (and emotional spectrums), Samantha is prepping for a career in modeling. Yes, modeling. And you just know that’s going to light a fire under her very opinionated fathers. But shockingly, Smitty — who you'd expect to blow a gasket — is surprisingly chill about it. Like, supportive even? He even says she looked like a natural in Dani’s fashion show. Is the world ending?
With Tyrell's help (shoutout to MVP little brothers), Samantha manages to stage a strategic chat with Smitty before Martin can show up and ruin the vibe. And when Martin does finally make his entrance? It's a hard “no” from the council of dads. Predictable? Yes. Accepted? Absolutely not.
Samantha isn’t exactly the “follow the rules” type. She lets both dads know she’s not asking for permission — she’s making a declaration. Modeling is happening, whether they like it or not.

Dani & Martin Discuss Samantha’s Big Move
And now for the weirdest team-up of the week: Martin and Dani. Yes, the same Dani who just got publically humiliated is now being consulted for advice on Samantha’s modeling career. Because when you need insight on the fashion industry, why not ask the woman who just got fired in front of the arugula?
Still, Dani manages to keep it real. She tells Martin what he already knows — modeling is brutal but can be worth it, especially with the right manager. She even compares Samantha’s ambition to Martin’s political goals (a reach, but we’ll allow it). Martin listens, then immediately ignores her and still says no. Typical dad move.
But like we said: Samantha doesn’t do “no.” She calls Chelsea, tells a teeny-tiny lie about having her dads’ blessing, and locks in her cousin as manager. Tyrell, the only sane person in the room, gives us all the eye roll we needed. This is going to explode, and we can’t wait to watch.
Charity Wars: Anita Dupree Brings the Heat
Now let’s talk about the moment Anita officially became a power player no one should mess with. When she finds out her daughter’s been axed from the grant board, she doesn’t cry. She doesn’t whine. She calls a meeting — Dupree-style.

Hannah walks into Dupree Manor thinking she’s here to plan events. Instead, she walks straight into a trap. Anita and Vernon politely (but firmly) give her a chance to reverse the board’s decision about Dani. When she refuses, they snatch their foundation’s funding like a queen yanking her crown. Bye-bye, support. Bye-bye, credibility.
And just for fun? They threaten to launch their own first-generation scholarship program. A direct competitor to Hannah’s precious project. This is the part where the rich get ruthless — all in the name of protecting their daughter from a reputation nosedive. Or maybe they just like the drama. Either way, it’s iconic.
