Days of Our Lives Full Episode Recap | Kristen Gets Served - Tuesday, April 8, 2025 [SPOILERS]

Tuesday's “Days of Our Lives” full episode recap dives headfirst into the chaos—Tate throws punches, Gabi and Kristen throw shade, and when Kristen gets served, her purse hides more than just lipstick. The drama’s hotter than ever in DOOL, and this episode did not come to play.

Gabi & Kristen | DOOL, Peacock

Tate Throws a Punch, and Honestly, Doug Kinda Deserved It

Let’s kick things off with Tate, who decides to take a break from trying to win a baby to break Doug’s face instead. And no, that’s not an exaggeration. Tate strolls into Holly’s room like he’s about to have a heartfelt chat—only to find Doug, of all people, pulling up his underwear. Yes. Underwear. The situation looks shady, and Tate reacts with his fists before anyone can say “misunderstanding.”

Tate launches into Doug | DOOL

Doug, with the smuggest smirk imaginable, accuses Tate of being a “little baby,” which, unsurprisingly, earns him a fist to the face. Holly walks in mid-punch (of course), screams, and suddenly it’s a full-blown mess. Tate’s yelling, Doug’s pretending he’s fine, and Holly’s juggling breakfast and emotional trauma before 10 a.m.

Tate storms off in a rage, and honestly? That relationship’s more over than Doug’s dignity.

Amy, the Baby, and a Not-So-Smooth Sales Pitch

Elsewhere in town, Sophia’s trying to play matchmaker between Tate and adoption approval. She's halfway through convincing her mom that Tate didn’t get into any trouble when Tate jogs up fresh from his little boxing match. Sophia tries to dig for details, but Tate’s not exactly in the mood to rehash how he became Salem’s most dramatic boyfriend.

Tate, Amy & Sophia | DOOL

Instead, they pivot to Amy and their campaign to adopt her baby. Their pitch? EJ’s in a coma, Johnny and Chanel are out of the house, and isn’t this all just a divine sign from above? Amy, for her part, seems halfway convinced—especially since she worships Paulina like she’s the second coming. But Amy isn’t a total pushover. She tells them she still needs to chat with Johnny and Chanel before she makes a decision.

Tate and Sophia are thrilled. Sophia’s beaming, Tate’s distracted, and adoption just moved from “no way” to “maybe, if Salem doesn’t implode first.”

JJ Thinks Gabi Might’ve Done It—But So Could Kristen, Honestly

Over at the police station, JJ’s having a little moral crisis with Shawn. He’s been playing detective and, surprise, he’s got suspicions about his own girlfriend, Gabi. Yep, Gabi disappeared the night EJ got shot and let’s not forget, she has tried to shoot the man before. But Shawn’s not convinced. He’s giving “benefit of the doubt” energy, while JJ is giving “my girlfriend might’ve pulled the trigger.”

Shawn does offer some boyfriend wisdom: “Maybe don’t accuse her unless you’ve got, I don’t know, actual evidence?” Also, he casually drops the fact that Kristen’s alibi—blow-drying her hair—isn’t exactly airtight. Because nothing says “innocent” like styling tools during a shooting.

Gabi vs. Kristen: The Showdown We’ve Been Waiting For

Speaking of Kristen—oh honey, this next part is juicy. Gabi struts into the DiMera mansion like she owns the place, only to get sneak-attacked by Kristen. There’s tension, there’s sass, there’s that signature DiMera darkness simmering just below the surface.

Gabi pays a visit to the DiMera mansion | DOOL

Kristen wants the mansion key back, and Gabi’s got that “I don’t trust you either” energy. They start throwing accusations around like confetti. Kristen suggests Gabi knows something about EJ’s shooting because of her JJ connection. Gabi claps back that Kristen has way more motive—remember when EJ disappeared Kristen’s mom?

Kristen tries to play it cool with a “I don’t even own a gun” defense. But Gabi’s not buying it. “Girl, please. You could get a gun in your sleep.” They part ways with zero trust and maximum suspicion. Because in Salem, no friendship is safe and every purse might be packing heat.

Belle’s Messy Feelings for EJ Are Giving Soap Opera Realness

Over in heartbreak hotel, Belle’s getting cozy with her guilt. Brady brings her coffee and drops the EJ bomb: he’s in a coma, and Rachel was there for the shooting but came out fine. Belle’s torn between relief and... feelings. That’s right, she feels for EJ. Gross, right? Can't wait for Sami's return!

Brady gives Belle a shoulder to cry on | DOOL

Belle’s a mess. She’s mad that EJ caught her wearing a wire, upset he’s in a coma, and downright confused about whether she wanted him arrested or in her bed. Brady—because he’s basically the Greek chorus in this episode—tells her it’s OK to care. It doesn’t make her weak. It just makes her human... and slightly dysfunctional, like the rest of them.

He heads off to get Rachel ready for school like it’s a totally normal day, and Belle’s left to cry over her comatose maybe-lover-maybe-nemesis.

The Gun, The Purse, and One Fed-Up Kristen

Meanwhile, Kristen is barely holding it together. She’s about to head to work and pretend everything’s fabulous when Shawn and JJ show up with a search warrant. Kristen rolls her eyes hard enough to pull a muscle, but she complies—mostly because she doesn’t have a choice.

Shawn & JJ serve Kristen with a warrant | DOOL

They make it very clear: they’re not just rummaging through the mansion. They’re diving into her purse. Kristen’s purse, y’all. If looks could kill, they’d both be in body bags. But Kristen, knowing she’s beat, lets them look—and wouldn’t you know it, JJ pulls out a gun.

Yep. A gun. In her purse. So much for not owning one, huh Kristen?

Her face is serving “I’ve made a terrible mistake,” but she tries to play it off. Unfortunately for her, Salem’s cops aren’t exactly new at this game. We end the episode with Kristen cornered, Belle broken, Tate spiraling, and Gabi ready to burn bridges like it’s an Olympic sport.
