General Hospital Full Episode Recap | Ava Figures out Who Cut Ric's Brakes - Monday, April 7, 2025 [SPOILERS]

Monday's General Hospital full episode recap is dripping with betrayal, blackmail, and brake-tampering drama. ADA Turner’s got her claws in Anna, Ava figures out she was the real target, and Kristina’s guilt is bubbling faster than Lucy’s enthusiasm for the Nurses Ball. Buckle up, GH fans — this one’s a wild ride.

ADA Turner Declares War on Anna: The GH Power Struggle You Didn't Know You Needed

Let’s start with the woman who’s got more enemies than friends right now: Anna. The day kicks off with Jack storming into her office like he's starring in his own action movie, only to drop a bomb — ADA Turner wants every WSB file on her. Every. Single. One. And guess what? Jack only handed over the bare minimum because, let’s face it, he's annoyed by her but not ready to deal with a new commissioner. He’s used to her brand of chaos.

Anna | GH

But Turner’s not here for petty power plays — oh no, she’s gunning for Anna’s entire career. Anna confronts Turner, thinking this is about her daughter Emma, but Turner has bigger targets in mind: Jason Morgan, Sonny, Valentin, Duke... basically Anna’s entire entourage of morally flexible men. Turner practically accuses Anna of running a murderers' boys club and promises that unlike Anna, she doesn't "look the other way." Ouch.

Anna claims she’s squeaky clean (lol okay) and insists everything she does is “by the book.” Turner says we’ll see about that. Looks like the GH political drama is just heating up.

The Nurses Ball Is Back: Lucy’s Recruiting Like a Reality Show Judge

Meanwhile, Lucy Coe is out here doing the Lord’s work — pulling together this year’s Nurses Ball. She corners Trina and begs her to perform with Kai or maybe do another duet with Joss. Kai initially bows out, Trina waffles, and Lucy’s basically throwing glitter and desperation at everyone she sees.

Eventually, Kai gives in, and Trina agrees to sing with him. Apparently, music heals or whatever. Lucy leaves satisfied, because she always gets her way. At the hospital, she tries to drag Lucas and Elizabeth into a duet — even though Liz is rocking a cast and Lucas would rather set himself on fire than go shirtless on stage again. Lucy swears he won’t have to perform... with her fingers crossed, because of course she does. Classic Lucy.

Joss Is Home, and She's Got Questions — Starting with "Why Are You Sleeping with That Guy?"

Carly, Jack & Joss | GH

Joss returns from Easter Island looking like a jet-setting queen and walks straight into the awkward love triangle of Carly, Jason, and Brennan. Carly’s thrilled to have her daughter home — until Joss throws down the sass and demands to know if Carly’s still sleeping with the man who almost poisoned her. Casual brunch convo.

Joss isn’t buying any of her mom’s vague answers. She and Jason test her Easter Island story (she passes…barely), and then Brennan walks in like he owns the place. Joss pops off again, and Brennan — smooth criminal that he is — says they can fight later because he needs to talk to Jason. And by talk, we mean shady spy whispers about Anna. Yeah, this plot has more layers than a wedding cake.

Later, Joss tells Jack to take her mom’s safety seriously. Jack promises he will, then throws some flirty shade, suggesting Joss might be jealous. Joss hits him with a deadpan, “Who says it was a performance?” Queen.

Jason and Anna Go Full Cloak-and-Dagger (Because Of Course They Do)

In the park — because where else do covert operatives meet in Port Charles — Anna fills Jason in on Turner’s witch hunt. Jason, forever the martyr, tells Anna if she’s got evidence on him, just arrest him already. Anna says nah, they’re ride-or-die. But no more public meetups — it’s getting too risky. They agree to use Jason’s place at Bobbie’s, which sounds like a secret spy clubhouse if we’ve ever heard one.

Ava’s Brakes Get the Drama Rolling (Literally)

Over at the hospital, Ava’s putting on her detective hat and starts poking around about the accident. She corners Elizabeth, who's still groggy from her crash, and fishes for details. Ava’s pretending it’s all out of concern, but Liz isn’t buying it — especially when Ava starts asking about Ric.

Ava & Ric | GH

After visiting Ric, Ava’s lightbulb finally goes off: this wasn’t some tragic twist of fate. Someone cut the brakes — and Ric was in her car’s usual spot. She connects the dots faster than a GH opening sequence and realizes she was the real target. And who’s sloppy enough to mess this up and nearly kill Ric instead? Oh yes, Kristina.

Ava remembers their little Metro Court showdown and Kristina’s threats, and suddenly it all makes sense. Ric isn’t exactly shocked — Kristina’s never been good at subtlety. They even pull up some garage footage, and lo and behold, there’s Kristina lurking near the car. The tape isn’t crystal clear, but it’s enough to freak everyone out.

Ric wants to call the cops and throw Kristina under the bus, but Ava — in all her sinister glory — tells him to slow his roll. She’s not done playing this game yet.

Kristina Breaks Down, Begs Lucky to Keep Her Secret

In a soap-worthy meltdown, Kristina confesses everything to Lucky. She tampered with Ava’s brakes in a rage spiral but didn’t know it was Ric’s car. She’s sobbing, apologizing, and trying to explain how it was all Ava’s fault — naturally.

Lucky, ever the voice of reason, tells her blaming Ava won’t wash. She’s looking at attempted murder charges, and her excuses are flimsier than Sonny’s alibis. He tells her to confess, or he’ll do it for her. Kristina panics — she’s already sent her family through hell, and prison would destroy her mom. She begs for mercy, and Lucky, being a big ol’ softie, agrees to let her live with the guilt instead of dragging her to jail.

Honestly, it’s probably worse punishment. That guilt isn’t going anywhere, sweetheart.

A Touchy Family Reunion — With a Side of Secrets

To make matters more emotionally chaotic, Kristina asks Alexis and Molly to meet her in the chapel. She sobs an apology about being selfish and not thinking about how much Molly has lost. It’s touching and tragic and painfully ironic because she just got away with attempted murder.

Alexis is crying, Molly is hugging, and nobody has a clue that the person Kristina almost killed is sitting in a hospital bed across town. Secrets, lies, and guilt — just another Tuesday on General Hospital.

Lucky “Handles” the Evidence — Like Only a GH Vet Can

As if he didn’t do enough, Lucky sneaks into the garage where Ric’s car was taken, claiming his “girlfriend” left her wallet in the wreck. The guy tells him it’s too late — the car’s already been crushed. And Lucky? He looks way too relieved. Because now there's no brake line, no evidence, no proof. Kristina’s off the hook, at least legally.

Morally? Well, she’s deep in GH sinner territory. Follow us at Soap Opera Reviews for daily spoilers and recaps. We live for the drama!
