Sonny’s Got 99 Problems & Natalia’s Betrayal is Definitely One
Friday’s "General Hospital" full episode recap kicks off with Sonny, who can’t even catch a breath — literally and figuratively. Fresh from dropping off little Donna at Carly’s house, Sonny has a lot more than Rocco’s missed debate weighing on him. Carly, never one to sugarcoat a crisis, calls him out. Is he skipping family events because of Laura’s referendum drama? Ding, ding, ding — give Carly her prize.
Sonny whines about looking weak if he gives up the piers, but Carly (bless her) tells him to suck it up and let the vote happen. His enemies already know he's a walking cardiac episode waiting to happen, and fighting Laura will just paint an even bigger target on his back. Oh, and in case you thought Sonny’s secret heart issues were staying under wraps? Think again. Carly is stunned when he confesses that Natalia — yes, that Natalia — knows all about his ticking time bomb of a heart. Worse, he doesn’t even trust her anymore because guess what? She’s knee-deep in lies with Sidwell, the shady flavor of the month. Good call, Sonny. Took you long enough.
Josslyn: Amateur Detective or Port Charles’ Latest Problem?
Meanwhile, over at General Hospital (because where else does drama incubate so perfectly?), Josslyn is out here playing detective with all the subtlety of a wrecking ball. After a "hiking accident" (read: drama-magnet moment), she bumps into Emma, who’s trying to survive her court-ordered community service after the crypt debacle.
Joss has no time for kids covered in finger paint though — she’s laser-focused on Professor Dalton and his suspicious metallic briefcase. When Dalton sneaks into a locked lab that’s definitely off-limits, Joss channels every bad spy movie and follows him around GH like he’s carrying nuclear codes. Vaughn better be ready because Josslyn’s about to drag them both into a mess that smells like felonies.
Maxie and Brook Lynn: Blindsided and Broke?
At Deception, Maxie and Brook Lynn are popping champagne over wrinkle cream sales when Jason shows up to rain on their parade. Surprise! Their CFO, Natalia, has been lying harder than a politician during campaign season. Turns out, Natalia’s ex is none other than the sinister Jenz Sidwell. Sonny uncovered the truth, and now Deception is about as stable as Ava’s love life.
Brook Lynn and Maxie want out of Sidwell’s web faster than you can say “bad decisions,” but Anna reminds them to sit tight — because Lucy’s head over heels for Sidwell and blowing everything up would be worse than that time Lucy tried to stage a fashion show on a haunted boat. Maxie looks ready to scream, but hey, patience is a virtue. Allegedly.
Jordan, Girl, What Are You Even Doing?
Speaking of bad choices, Jordan meets up with Sidwell at Wyndemere (strike one) and listens to his offer for her to become his company’s shiny new COO (strike two). This job comes with all the perks: shady dealings, selling your soul, and absolutely no personal life. What a dream.
Isaiah is horrified when Jordan tells him she’s even thinking about it. And because Jordan is determined to ruin her own happiness, she tells Isaiah they’re over. That’s right — she ditches a good man for a job offer dripping in red flags. Girl, if heartbreak was a career move, you'd be CEO by now.
Lucy Coe and the Shock Heard Round Deception
Lucy, our queen of chaos, stumbles into the Sidwell mess next. When she finds Jordan chatting up Jenz, she demands answers — and honey, does she get them. Sidwell casually drops the bomb that he and Natalia used to be married, and Lucy’s jaw hits the floor so hard it probably cracked the marble at Wyndemere.
When Natalia finally shows up, she tries to spin it like her past marriage was some minor irrelevant detail. Lucy isn't buying what she’s selling and warns Natalia her Deception days are numbered. Natalia storms out furious, but Jenz isn't done with her yet. He dangles a shady offer in front of her face: sell Sonny out, and maybe she’ll keep her job. For someone who claimed loyalty to Sonny, Natalia folded faster than a cheap lawn chair. Oh, and for the record? She spilled the juicy detail about Sonny needing open-heart surgery. Loyalty, who?
Sasha’s Quartermaine Initiation: Baby Bumps and Drama Dumps
Across town, Sasha is living her best almost-Quartermaine life. Olivia basically throws her a welcome party without the banner, telling her she’s already one of the family. Even Tracy, the queen of disdain, sent a heartwarming (read: not insulting) card. Sasha’s practically glowing — or maybe that’s just pregnancy hormones.
But of course, Jason has to crash the moment by confronting her about being too cozy with Sidwell. Sasha doesn’t exactly deny it either, proving once again that even in Port Charles, you can never trust a glow-up without some messy strings attached.
We bring you daily spoilers and recaps so you never miss a thing. We live for the drama!
