Lois Is Back and Brook Lynn Is Not Okay About It
We open this wild GH ride in the cozy chaos that is the Quartermaine kitchen. Brook Lynn and Chase are playing domestic bliss over breakfast until Olivia barrels in like a Broadway stage manager, announcing a “surprise.” And oh honey, it is a surprise — Lois is back in town, looking glam, loud, and very much like a mom with unfinished business.

Lois returns to Port Charles | GH |
Lois hugs it out with Chase (who’s always down for some wholesome affection), then turns to Brook Lynn, expecting a warm fuzzy reunion. What she gets is her daughter making a break for it like she's auditioning for Runaway Daughter: The Musical. Brook Lynn flees under the excuse of a work call, and Chase rushes after her, because clearly, this man lives to clean up emotional messes.
Olivia, being the intuitive Italian mama she is, clocks the awkward energy faster than you can say “meatballs.” She corners Lois and demands answers. Lois plays it cool, saying it’s between her and Brook Lynn, but Olivia is not the one to be brushed off. She reminds Lois that they’re more than friends — they’re family — and when she’s ready to spill (not the tea, just the facts), she’ll be there. Lois gets misty-eyed, but we know she’s holding onto one hell of a secret. One that she can’t even tell Olivia. Now that’s saying something.
Brook Lynn’s Buried Truth Bubbles Up
Down at the boathouse, Brook Lynn vents to Chase. She says her mom’s return lit a fire in her soul — and not the cozy kind. Seeing her mom just reminds her of everything she’s hiding. Namely, the major bombshell that she had a baby. Chase, always trying to be the voice of reason with those soulful eyes and cop instincts, tells her if she wants to keep this secret under wraps, she might want to stop sending out smoke signals of resentment every time Lois walks into a room.

He also drops a little truth nugget: maybe it’s time to forgive her mom. Brook Lynn, torn between betrayal and guilt, realizes she’s no saint either. She’s been lying to Dante and a whole bunch of other folks about her baby. But Chase makes it clear — there’s a difference between lying and playing God with someone’s legacy. Oof. But hey, he still kisses her, so love wins… for now.
Dante Confronts Lulu and Things Get Real, Real Fast
Meanwhile, Lulu is doing what Lulu does best — scheming in stilettos. She saunters over to the stables and drops an apology on Cody like it’s confetti. She admits she played him to get the scoop on Dante and Brook Lynn’s ancient history. Cody looks like he just bit into a lemon and then—bam! Dante walks in like he’s heard enough.
The drama goes full throttle. Lulu says yeah, she tricked Cody, but it was for the greater good (isn’t it always?). Dante lays it out: what happened with Brook Lynn was a teenage summer fling when they were camp counselors, not some scandalous love affair that would threaten the very fabric of his life with Lulu. But Lulu’s not buying the “puppy love” story. She wants to know: when Brook Lynn came back to Port Charles, did Dante still catch feelings?

Dante swears up and down that Lulu was his whole world back then. Still, he admits that if he’d been honest about his past from the get-go, none of this would have spiraled. Lulu, basking in the glory of being right (yet again), agrees that honesty is the best policy. They agree — no more secrets. Cute, right? But we know this is General Hospital, so cue more secrets incoming in 3...2...
Lulu vs. Cody: Round Two
After Dante exits stage left to help Leo, Cody swoops back in to confront Lulu. He’s not buying her innocent act. He flat-out tells her she’s weaving too many stories and he can smell a con from a mile away. And yes, he’s sniffing one now. Lulu says she can explain. Cody says she can’t. Well, that’s awkward.
Alexis’ Office Turns into the Eye of the Storm
Let’s pivot to Alexis, who’s strutting into work with the pep of someone who thinks life is finally turning around. Diane practically does a double-take when Alexis says she’s feeling hopeful, especially since her daughters, Kristina and Molly, have finally put down the emotional pitchforks and started supporting each other.
Alexis is practically glowing when Marco walks in — the new guy, all charm and courtroom charisma. They’re vibing, bonding over defense strategies, and Alexis is thinking, “Yes, this is the energy I need.” Diane ducks out to handle some judge drama, leaving Alexis and Marco to flirt… err, professionally connect.
And then comes the storm — Ava. Looking like she just stepped out of a villainess fashion spread, Ava waltzes in with that signature smirk and a bombshell. She’s not here to play nice. She’s here to talk about Kristina and the kind of future that rhymes with “extortion.”
Ava’s Dirty Deeds & Big Plans
Over in Ric’s hospital room, he’s trying to do the whole morally upright thing and report Kristina to the police. But Ava? She’s got bigger ambitions than simple justice. She's thinking long game, big bucks, and blackmail. Ric calls her plan insane. Ava calls it business.

Ava has blackmail on the brain | GH |
She wants to use what Kristina did — aka a little vehicular drama that left Ric and Liz in the hospital — to blackmail Alexis into handing over Cassadine cash. Ric’s fuming. Ava’s smirking. She says if he really wants to protect his daughter, maybe he shouldn’t send her only remaining sister to prison. Besides, Ava's not just in it for the money — she’s throwing Kristina a lifeline. The last one she plans to offer.
Oh, and if Ric’s worried about Kristina coming after her again, Ava says bring it on. She can handle herself. This girl didn’t survive the Jerome family and Nikolas Cassadine just to get rattled by Kristina.
Elizabeth, Ric, and Selective Memory
Back in Liz’s hospital room, she’s ready to take a stroll (with a wheelchair assist from Deanna, bless her). She pays Ric a visit, and the tension is thicker than a bowl of Quartermaine gravy.
Ric is relieved she’s okay, and Liz tells him she was terrified for him too. But when she asks what he remembers from the crash, Ric conveniently omits the part where Kristina was involved. Uh-huh. Selective memory is contagious in Port Charles, apparently.
Lucky Lays Down the Law with Kristina
Kristina shows up at the hospital with flowers and guilt. She visits Liz, trying to be the supportive friend while internally screaming. Lucky finds her and pulls her aside for a real talk in the chapel.

He knows she’s struggling and hints that maybe, just maybe, she should talk to her mother about a plea deal if she can’t live with what she did. But until then? Keep calm and keep quiet. The car’s been crushed, the evidence is gone, and the cops are calling it an accident. Lucky says he’ll help cover it up, but only if Kristina stops spiraling and starts acting like someone who deserves saving.
Kristina’s scared someone will find out. Lucky says, “Not if you stop broadcasting your guilt like a soap opera monologue.”
Secrets on the Edge of Exposure
Back in the Quartermaine kitchen, Dante’s chatting with Lois and feeling nostalgic. Brook Lynn walks in, ready to finally confront her mom… and then stops dead when she sees Dante. The past, the present, and the secret baby bombshell are about to collide in one glorious mess.
