On Monday's fiery episode of General Hospital, Joss and Emma throw down some emotional baggage, Maxie kicks Natalia to the curb, Lucas has questions for Marco, and Carly vows to stick by Sonny — whether he likes it or not.

Joss & Emma: Dumpster Drama & Old Wounds
Joss finds Emma literally dumpster-diving behind GH, and no, it’s not some ironic art project — Emma straight-up fell in. Because what’s a little public humiliation between old frenemies?

Emma | GH |
Joss tries to hobble away but can’t because, plot twist, she jacked up her ankle hiking on Easter Island. Emma, never one to miss a beat, snarks that crutches would really complete Joss’s whole look. That’s when the gloves come off. Emma unloads years of pent-up resentment, accusing Joss of getting everything handed to her on a platinum platter, from exotic vacations to snatching spots in elite college classes. Joss, meanwhile, thought Emma was Little Miss Perfect who could do no wrong.
Cue the mutual jealousy confessional. Emma envied Joss’s fearless, rule-breaking spirit, while Joss envied Emma’s effortless golden-girl act. They bond over their twisted admiration for each other, share a few laughs, and manage to limp their way back into a semi-functional friendship — at least for now. This full episode recap is already giving therapy session realness.
Sidwell’s Mess & Maxie’s Major Move
Over at Deception, Maxie, Brook Lynn, and Lucy are practically breathing into paper bags trying to figure out how deep they are in Sidwell’s shady pocket. Anna swings by to drop the cold, hard truth: Sidwell’s using Deception to launder his image squeaky clean, and surprise — it’s working. Anna advises they keep dancing with the devil but don't let him lead.
Lucy bursts in, wild-eyed, ready to dish about Natalia, but Jason beat her to it. Natalia’s tangled web is already public knowledge.
Meanwhile, Jason’s busy giving Sasha the third degree about her shady payday from Sidwell. Sasha, bless her stubborn little heart, insists she didn’t technically lie — she just massaged the truth because Deception needed that zincite like yesterday. Jason reminds her that if you have to hide it, you probably shouldn’t have done it. Sasha vows she’s done making dirty deals, but let’s be real, in Port Charles, nobody’s ever really done.
Trust Issues: Lucas Comes for Marco
At GH, Lucas corners Marco for a little father-son dirt digging. Marco paints himself as the tragic son who didn’t know his criminal dad until his teenage years and swears he didn’t know Lucas was a Port Charles resident when they first met in Miami. Lucas isn’t exactly buying the Boy Scout act and demands to know if Marco’s playing for Team Sidwell.

Marco serves up a law-school-approved non-answer, and Lucas calls him out faster than you can say "objection." Lucas has been burned by shady fathers before, and he’s not about to sign up for another heartbreak subscription.
Jordan’s Dangerous Game: Sidwell’s New Frenemy
Elsewhere, Jordan is dumping Isaiah like last week’s leftovers because her new plan involves getting cozy with Sidwell’s criminal enterprise — professionally, of course. Isaiah pleads with her to be smart, but Jordan’s all-in. Anna’s impressed-slash-terrified by Jordan’s balls of steel, especially since undercover work with a psycho like Sidwell tends to end with someone’s face on a milk carton.
Jordan doesn’t care. She’s already paid the emotional price, and she’s betting she can keep Sidwell tangled up just long enough to take him down. Bold? Yes. Crazy? Absolutely.
Sidwell’s Shameless Pitch to Alexis: Hire My Baby Boy!
Over at Alexis’s office, Sidwell decides that barging in uninvited is a great way to make a good impression. He throws Marco’s Ivy League resume in her face and practically begs her to hire him. Alexis, who has less patience than usual for nonsense, points out that Sidwell himself being a "client" is a bit of a conflict of interest.

Sidwell | GH |
Sidwell tries tugging on her heartstrings with a sob story about missing Marco’s childhood because of his messy breakup with Natalia. Alexis isn’t moved. She’s not running a charity, and nepotism doesn’t pay her bills. After an awkward standoff, Sidwell finally leaves, but not before declaring his son could outshine anyone she throws at him. Bold strategy, Cotton.
Maxie Lowers the Boom: Natalia, You’re Out!
While Alexis deals with Stage Dad Syndrome, Deception is having a “Bye Felicia” moment of its own. Natalia busts in trying to justify why she didn’t mention her baby daddy is the Sidwell they’re now entangled with. Her excuse? She froze. Cute. Too bad Maxie, Brook Lynn, and Lucy aren’t here for sob stories today.
Sonny shows up mid-drama, just in time to see Maxie deliver the pink slip of all pink slips. Natalia’s out as CFO, and no amount of begging Sonny to save her could change that. Even Sonny, king of misplaced loyalty, knows when to walk away. Natalia storms out, humiliated, and Sonny quietly wishes he’d never vouched for her in the first place.

Natalia doesn’t go quietly into that good night, though. She immediately vents to Marco, blaming his father, Sonny, and basically anyone breathing for her downfall.
Carly & Jason: Plotting and Worrying — Again
Back in Carly’s kitchen, Carly is deep in her feelings, ranting to Jason about being left in the dark over Sonny’s health issues. Jason explains Sonny didn’t want her worrying, but Carly's not here for that excuse. She declares she’s heading to LA with Sonny for his surgery, no matter what he says. Ex-wife status be damned.

Jason & Carly | GH |
Jason, as always, is the voice of reason (and occasional brooding judgment), reminding Carly that Sonny is going to need her way more than he thinks he will. They both agree on one thing though: Natalia’s mouth probably ran straight to Sidwell, and if so, they’re all in deep trouble.
