Alexis Has Some Explaining to Do & It Doesn’t Go Well
Oh, Alexis. When you try to help but instead light a match and toss it on the gas can that is your family life. Kristina, bless her chaos, just found out Alexis had commitment papers drawn up on her—yep, the "lock her up" kind. And who delivers that lovely bombshell? Molly. Of course.
Kristina confronts her mom, wondering how the woman who birthed her could even think about committing her. Alexis fumbles the PR response and tries to claim, "I didn’t sign them!" But when you’ve already called the mental health hit squad, the intent speaks louder than the ink. She tries to paint the whole thing as motherly concern, saying Kristina was putting on a show and looked like she was about to shatter. But Kristina doesn’t want the protective guilt trip; she wants respect.

Alexis | GH |
Kristina, devastated and furious, storms out after shouting, “So I’m a danger to myself and society?!” Honestly, give her the Emmy now. Molly reads Alexis for filth, calling out her lifelong habit of undercutting Kristina under the guise of “protection.” Alexis admits she messed up—but that ship has sailed, sunk, and is resting at the bottom of the Port Charles harbor. Molly joins her sister in the storm-off parade.
Oh, and just when you think Alexis might be done with the drama? A package arrives containing Helena Cassadine’s dagger—yes, that dagger. Looks like Sidwell’s playing a very creepy version of Secret Santa. Good luck sleeping tonight, Lexi.
Kristina Breaks Down at Adela’s Grave
Fresh off being metaphorically gutted by her mother, Kristina does what any tortured soap soul would—she visits a grave for a dramatic monologue. At her grandmother Adela’s final resting place, Kristina unloads about the chaos in her life. Between fearing she’ll lose Molly if her secret comes out and her mother thinking she’s mentally unhinged, Kristina’s nearing her own personal soap opera breaking point.
But in walks Molly, because sister intuition is real. She finds Kristina exactly where she thought she’d be, and the two share a rare moment of actual warmth. No Sam, no baby girl, just the two of them holding it together in a mess of betrayal and confusion. Sister solidarity: activated.
Anna & the Mysterious Mr. Dalton at The Savoy
Meanwhile, Anna's glam and ready for a night out, but Felicia flakes thanks to an insurance company emergency. Not that Anna minds—she parks herself at the bar at The Savoy and soon finds herself next to Professor Henry “Call Me Hank” Dalton. He’s smooth, he’s sipping a continental sour, and he’s apparently PCU’s new faculty eye candy.

Dalton & Anna | GH |
He recognizes Anna’s accent, she clocks his California-to-Port Charles move, and the flirty energy is thicker than Sonny’s espresso roast. Turns out Dalton is Emma’s professor, and he's already evaluating her for a research gig. This guy’s weaving himself into the GH tapestry faster than you can say “new character, who dis?”
Portia Gets Shady With Brad — Hello, Ketamine
Portia. Sweet, smart Portia is now trafficking in illegal ketamine. All for Congressman “Cutthroat” Drew? Apparently. She enlists Brad to do the dirty work, and he's not exactly thrilled to play hospital drug mule. But she basically blackmails him into it—get the drugs or get fired. And surprise! Brad chooses unemployment insurance over ethics.
He delivers the goods, and Portia rings up Nina to report that the shady shopping list is now complete. How is this not blowing up yet? Stay tuned.
Curtis, Trina & Kai Handle Business (and Emotions)
Curtis is holding court at The Savoy when Trina and Kai drop in for some pre-surgery socializing. Kai pulls Curtis aside for a heart-to-heart apology about ignoring his advice on the surgery, but Curtis keeps it classy and supportive. Meanwhile, Trina and Emma have a low-key gossip session that veers into territory about Emma’s expulsion and the ADA’s odd line of questioning. Trina suspects the real target is her grandmother, not Emma.
Kai and Trina later toast to hope and risk, with Kai admitting that Drew’s documenting the whole procedure. You know, just in case. Charming.
Gio Tries to Neutralize Tracy’s Anti-Sonny Agenda
Over at the Quartermaine circus tent (aka the mansion), Tracy’s campaigning hard against Sonny owning the docks. She tries to get Gio to register to vote locally just to stop him. The pitch? “Vote for Laura, say no to mobbed-up moorings!”

But Gio’s not feeling it. Uncle Sonny may be a walking FBI file, but he’s family. Tracy’s rebuttal is basically a Greatest Hits album of Sonny’s worst decisions, concluding with: “Get out before you’re in jail or dead.” Later, Emma swings by, and Gio pins his hope on her helping derail Tracy’s anti-Sonny crusade. Spoiler alert: she probably won’t.
Joss’s Training Gets Physical, Vaughn Gets Pushy
In a dark alley because that’s where all the best learning happens, Vaughn grabs Joss in a surprise chokehold. It’s a "training session," he says. She calls it “ambush strangling,” which, fair. He wants her to pump Dalton for info, fast. He even gives her the tip that Dalton will be at The Savoy, so she’d better make her presence felt.
Later, she shows up and spots Dalton mid-flirt with Anna. Girl’s got work to do—and competition.
Sonny’s Brush With Death, Mike’s Ghostly Pep Talk
Now to L.A., where the drama hits operatic levels. Carly calls Jason with updates, and Sonny wakes up to what looks like a nurse ready to inject something sketchy. But surprise! That "nurse" isn’t a nurse at all—she pulls a gun on Brick, who waltzes in and handles it like the professional secret agent he is. Boom—silent shot, no more assassin.
Brick tells Carly he was headed to Dubai but noticed a trail of blood and a half-naked nurse in a closet. So, naturally, he returned to check on Sonny and saved the day. Carly is stunned, grateful, and very close to tears. Then Jack appears (because why not), saying he just happened to be in the area for WSB work. They kiss. It’s a whole thing.
Meanwhile, Sonny drifts into a vision where he’s having a full-blown conversation with his late father, Mike, at Bobbie’s Diner. They talk about regrets, danger, and the mob life that’s haunted their family for years. Mike tells him it’s time to find a new path—and with that, Sonny wakes up in his hospital bed, alone but forever changed.
