The Bold and the Beautiful Full Episode Recap | Deacon gives Hope a Pep Talk - Wednesday, April 16, 2025

In Wednesday’s The Bold and the Beautiful full episode recap Liam’s got a secret, Sheila’s stirring the pot, and Hope is rethinking her whole life. Here’s your no-holds-barred B&B recap.

Deacon gives Hope a pep talk | B&B, CBS

Liam’s Secret: Bridget’s Got Receipts and She’s Not Loving It

Over at the hospital, Liam Spencer is living his best undercover patient life, and guess who walks in and ruins the party? Dr. Bridget Forrester herself. Liam, our permanently troubled hero, has been hiding his condition from pretty much everyone, including Hope. Yes, the Hope. Bridget looks like she’s about to lose her medical license just standing there trying to process the audacity.

Liam insists he’s fine, practically ready to cartwheel out of there, but Bridget isn’t buying what he’s selling. She tells him straight up: rehab is definitely in his future. You know, unless he plans on spontaneously healing by sheer stubbornness. And the cherry on top? Liam doesn’t want his own father to know he almost died. Because that’s healthy.

Steffy and Finn pop in just in time to hear Liam singing Steffy’s praises, giving her full credit for him not being six feet under. Bridget warns that secrets have a nasty habit of exploding — but Liam’s over here playing, “I’ll deal with it later.” Spoiler alert: later is always worse on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Hope’s Meltdown: Deacon's Pep Talk of the Year

Meanwhile, at Brooke’s place, Hope is having a one-woman pity party and Deacon RSVP’d "yes" to give the pep talk of the year. Hope’s got grievances stacked higher than a Forrester Creations closet. She’s sick of Brooke picking Ridge over her, her love life is a trainwreck, and don’t even mention her career unless you want a full monologue.

Deacon, king of the bad boys with a soft side, reminds his daughter she’s a superstar. He’s all, “You’re amazing, any man would be lucky to have you,” while simultaneously dragging Carter for being the fool that he is. And when Hope suggests Deacon’s a little biased? He’s like, “Maybe, but also, you’re fabulous.”

Oh, and Deacon just casually slips in that Liam is his favorite of her exes. Because nothing says closure like dad picking his daughter’s ex-boyfriends like he’s judging a beauty pageant.

Will & Electra: PG-13 Today, But Watch This Space

Over at Forrester Creations, Will and Electra are getting cozy, but not that cozy. Will’s trying to turn the design office into his personal bachelor pad, but Electra’s playing the long game. She’s attracted, she’s flattered, but she’s not about to rush things. No sir.

Will, being the overeager golden boy he is, tries to convince her they’re already alone. Electra, with the patience of a saint and the sass of a queen, tells him today’s not the day. She assures him she’s interested, but he’s going to have to cool his jets. Will agrees like a true gentleman, and they seal it with a kiss.

Bet your bottom dollar that "not today" doesn’t mean "never" in the wild world of B&B.

Sheila & Luna: Bad Girls Club, Beverly Hills Edition

Meanwhile, Il Giardino becomes the unofficial headquarters for scheming when Sheila Carter and her granddaughter Luna link up. With Deacon off playing life coach, Sheila’s free to encourage Luna’s not-so-subtle obsession with Will.

Luna brags about her failed “pizza delivery” seduction — yes, she literally dressed up as a pizza delivery guy to catch Will's attention. Sheila, ever the queen of chaos, toasts to her granddaughter’s creativity and admits she’s pulled the same moves back in her glory days. Why is it always the Carter women pulling moves better suited for reality TV?

Luna's confident she’s gotten inside Will’s head — or at least planted a seed — but Sheila, the voice of wicked wisdom, reminds her she’s going to have to water it. And you know Luna’s not backing down. She even daydreams about Will falling headfirst into her trap. Spoiler alert: it’s only a matter of time before that seed grows into full-blown trouble.

Hope’s Growing Concern: Mommy Instincts Activate

Back at Brooke’s mansion, Hope confides to Deacon that she hasn’t heard from Liam in a while. Red flag alert. Usually, he’s calling little Beth like clockwork, and now? Radio silence. Hope’s gut says something’s wrong, and let’s be honest, her gut usually knows what’s up.

Liam’s Second Chance: Daddy-Daughter Dance or Bust

While Hope’s pacing floors, Liam’s in the hospital declaring he’s definitely not missing Kelly’s daddy-daughter dance. Forget medical advice, forget rest — Liam’s ready to rip his IV out if it means being there for his kid. Finn and Steffy practically have to tie him to the bed to remind him his health should come first.

Liam gets all sentimental about life’s little moments, waxing poetic about second chances and putting love first. Steffy, looking at him like she’s seeing a ghost who learned how to be emotional, tells him it sounds just like the old Liam. Only this time, he might actually mean it.
