Things are messy (and we love it) on Monday's The Bold and the Beautiful. Between Liam’s brush with death, Brooke’s mama-bear meltdown, and Deacon serving fatherly fury, this B&B full episode recap is filled to the brim with emotional chaos, boardroom drama, and romantic delusions.
Liam Wakes Up—and Honey, So Does the Drama

Steffy waits by Liam's bedside | B&B, CBS |
If you thought The Bold and the Beautiful was going to let you catch your breath this week, you must be new here. We pick up right where the emotional bomb went off on Friday—Liam’s body is flatlining like your Wi-Fi during a Zoom meeting, and Steffy is having a full-blown meltdown in the hospital hallway. Enter Dr. Grace Buckingham, who snaps into action like the boss she is, screaming about brain bleeds and OR prep like she's on a Shonda Rhimes show.
Steffy, heart in pieces, begs her unconscious ex to not pull a soap opera fade-out. She gets a flicker of a pulse and, just like that, Liam is wheeled away for emergency brain surgery. As if this man hasn’t suffered enough, now he’s unconscious, stitched up, and sitting on a cliff’s edge of brain damage. This is what happens when you mix dangerous stunts with daytime drama.

Dr. Buckingham works on Liam, Steffy gives an emotional monologue | B&B |
After surgery, Grace—forever the queen of straight talk—lets Steffy know Liam’s stable for now, but don’t go planning a beach picnic just yet. There’s swelling, multiple impact points, and the not-so-tiny threat of permanent brain damage hanging in the air. So yes, Steffy, you may have saved Liam’s life, but the man’s not out of the woods. Not even close.
Cue Steffy at his bedside, giving the kind of emotional monologue that should earn her an honorary Daytime Emmy. She pleads with Liam to wake up, flashing through their past romance like it’s a Nicholas Sparks adaptation. The kids need him, she says. She needs him—even if they’re not together anymore, she’ll always need him. Honestly, at this point, we all do.
And just when the tissues are out and the sobs are stuck in our throats, BAM—Liam stirs. His hand moves. Grace confirms it: he’s back. Steffy sobs, and let’s be real, so do we. Because nothing screams B&B like waking up from brain surgery in the arms of your ex.
Ridge Goes Full CEO and Tells Brooke to Sit Down and Be Quiet
Meanwhile, back at Forrester Creations—aka ground zero for ego clashes and fashion-fueled tantrums—Ridge and Brooke are having a boardroom brawl. Brooke, draped in righteousness and hair that deserves its own contract, is defending Hope like it’s her day job. Which, honestly, it might as well be.

Brooke & Ridge | B&B |
Brooke’s argument? Carter signed those takeover papers, and Hope’s being unfairly targeted. But Ridge is not buying what she's selling. He reminds her—he took responsibility. Hope? She’s out here dodging accountability like it’s a game of emotional dodgeball.
Carter waltzes in just in time for this showdown. Brooke tries to recruit him to Team Hope, but he’s all diplomatic and “let’s not rock the boat,” while Ridge doubles down. Hope’s out, her line’s not coming back, and no—Brooke shouldn’t even think about defending her again if she wants to stay on his good side. Brooke, naturally, fumes harder than a coffee machine on a Monday morning.

Carter, B&B |
Sorry, Brooke. Ridge is in boss mode, and he’s not here for your mama bear antics. The verdict? Hope needs to pack up her sketchbook and start job hunting. Because Forrester is now a Hope-free zone.
Hope’s Pity Party with Deacon
Over at Il Giardino—because when your life crumbles, carbs and cocktails are the answer—Hope is licking her wounds and confiding in daddy Deacon. And thank all the soap gods that Deacon is here, because he’s not about to let Ridge and Steffy’s shady little coup slide.
Hope, understandably devastated, admits she still has feelings for Carter. (Girl, why?) And to make things worse, she walked in on Mr. Suit-and-Betrayal kissing someone else. Deacon? Furious. He’s ready to call Carter out with the kind of dad rage usually reserved for teenage heartbreaks and bad report cards.
“You messed with my daughter,” he seethes later on, confronting Carter like a lion in a three-piece suit. “Bad move. Very bad.” Honestly? Carter should be scared. This is not the Deacon who stumbles over his words and plays peacemaker. This is full-throttle protective papa mode, and it is delicious.
Meanwhile, Hope considers crashing at her dad’s place if the Brooke situation goes further south. Because when your professional life tanks and your love life is in flames, moving into your dad’s restaurant-adjacent pad is obviously the next step.
Finn Tries to Keep It Together, But He Knows Something’s Up
Back at the cliff house, Finn is trying to manage Daddy-Daughter Dance excitement from Kelly and low-key panic in his own brain. Kelly’s beaming about dancing with Liam, and Finn—ever the supportive stepdad—says all the right things. But something is off. He can feel it.
Steffy and Liam still haven’t shown, and now Finn’s sending worried text messages like a nervous boyfriend in a rom-com. “Is everything OK?” Oh, sweetie. You have no idea.
A Love Triangle No One Asked For & Emotional Whiplash We Definitely Needed
Back in the world of emotional wreckage, Carter is brooding in the design office like the beautiful, misguided man he is. He’s clearly still thinking about Hope (regret looks good on him, not gonna lie), while Hope is at Il Giardino, thinking about him too. Because in true The Bold and the Beautiful fashion, even when love is dead and buried, we still bring flowers.
Flashbacks hit us with those gooey moments where Carter vowed not to let Hope fall, and let’s be real—if your man promises to catch you, then turns around and drops you for Daphne Rose? It’s time to change your type, babe.
Still, there's chemistry. There's history. And there's drama that’s nowhere close to done.
