The Young and the Restless Full Episode Recap | Diane Confronts Michael & Victor Explodes - Friday, April 18, 2025 [SPOILERS]

It's Cliffhanger Friday and Friday's The Young and the Restless full episode recap proves that secret agendas, shady alliances, and messy romances are alive and thriving in Genoa City. Diane confronts Michael and Victor explodes into anger over loyalty.

Diane confronts Michael | Y&R, CBS SONY

Lily Plays Chess, Not Checkers

Over at Society, Abby is practically handing out gold stars, insisting Lily’s plan could actually work. Devon, of course, is having a nervous breakdown about it. Apparently, trusting Lily after everything she’s been through is a radical idea to him. Devon is convinced Lily’s too burned to play it cool, but Abby isn’t here for his doubts. Girl’s been through enough — she knows a snake when she sees one.

Lily chats with Amy about Damian | Y&R, CBS

Meanwhile, Lily’s running into Amy at Crimson Lights, and it’s a whole awkward lovefest. Amy’s still recovering from her own drama but feeling spry enough to dish with Traci over dinner. Naturally, Amy assumes Lily spent her entire date night interrogating Damian like she’s a detective on a crime show. Lily’s mildly offended but doesn't exactly deny it either. Listen, if the shoe fits…

Audra’s Phone Blows Up and Nate’s Over It

While Audra is trying to get Nate to dance with her one more time, reality crashes in with Victor’s name lighting up her phone like a Christmas tree. Nate's suspicious, and frankly, so are we. If Victor’s calling during your date night, you’re probably not up to anything wholesome.

Kyle, ever the golden boy with a side of reckless, crashes Jack’s suite with a bottle to celebrate their supposed success. Jack’s all smiles, but Kyle’s immediate “Where’s Mom?” energy hints that this party’s about to go south and it does.

Diane's Got Michael in Her Crosshairs

At the club’s bar, Diane spots Michael and wastes no time calling him out. She wants to know if he’s doing Victor’s dirty work to sabotage Jabot. Michael, clutching his lawyer card like a security blanket, pleads the fifth and acts all wounded. Diane's not buying the innocent act — she’s seen this movie before and knows exactly who the villain is.

Damian's Smooth Moves and Devon's Trust Issues

Devon’s on full-blown red alert, convinced Damian is playing Lily. Abby, eternally optimistic, believes Lily’s smart enough to use Damian’s smooth-talking ways against him. But Devon’s not ready to roll out the welcome mat just yet — and honestly, can you blame him?

Later, Lily finds herself apologizing to Amy for possibly coming across as suspicious. Amy tries to defend Damian’s honor but even she’s not willing to swear on it. In true "bless her heart" fashion, Amy hopes Lily can stay open-minded for everyone’s sake. Lily says she wants to be wrong about Damian, but let’s not hold our breath.

Victor’s Shady Ultimatums and Audra’s Complicated Loyalties

Meanwhile, Victor’s blowing up Audra’s phone with promises of success — if she can drive a wedge between Kyle and Claire. Because nothing says family loyalty like manipulating your own granddaughter’s love life for corporate gain, right?

Abby stops by to pep talk Devon into admitting that Lily belongs at Winters. He begrudgingly agrees but makes it clear that Victor’s manipulative methods make him want to throw hands. Honestly, same.

Kyle’s Smiling But Jack’s Panicking

Kyle's mooning over Claire like a teenager at prom, while Jack’s having a full-on existential crisis because Kyle casually let it slip that Victor has spies crawling all over Jabot. Jack is horrified that Kyle didn’t blurt this out sooner. Kyle, bless his himbo heart, is too busy daydreaming about Claire to notice the house is on fire.

Kyle & Jack | Y&R

Meanwhile, Diane’s still badgering Michael at the club about his loyalty. He swears he’s not involved but continues waving that shady attorney-client privilege excuse like a white flag.

Amy and Lily’s Heart-to-Heart: Can We Trust Damian?

Over coffee at Crimson Lights, Amy confides in Lily that while Damian seems decent, she can’t be 100% sure he's not working some angle. For all anyone knows, he’s cozy with that shady billionaire, Aristotle Dumas. Lily, ever the realist these days, shares a common bond with Amy — that she’s a cancer survivor — which makes her even less interested in playing stupid games with shady men. Both women agree they want to believe in Damian, but they’re also keeping receipts just in case.

Victor's Not-So-Subtle Threats and Mike’s Damage Control

Victor, looking like he’s ready to fight the entire Abbott family with his bare hands, warns Abby about Aristotle Dumas. Apparently, the Winters and Chancellor empires might have a big, fat target on their backs. Victor practically begs Abby to keep her ear to the ground, and she agrees faster than you can say "hostile takeover."

Meanwhile, Michael drops by Victor’s house to do some late-night damage control after Diane ambushed him. Victor’s in no mood for nonsense. He demands loyalty and reminds Michael exactly who signs his checks. Subtlety has never been Victor’s strong suit.

Jack's Hopeful & Diane’s Still Plotting

Back at the Abbott mansion, Jack shares with Kyle that he gleefully rubbed the family’s success in Victor’s face earlier. Diane floats in to share her own little nugget: they might have a double agent inside Victor’s camp now. Jack’s thrilled — until he remembers that Michael could just as easily be playing both sides. Stay paranoid, Jack.

Trust, But Verify

The final scenes have Abby practically bursting with pride during her reunion with Victor. After all the family catch-up, Victor gets dead serious and warns her again about Dumas and company. Meanwhile, Lily promises Amy that she’ll stay open-minded about Damian — for now. But nobody's putting away their magnifying glass just yet.

Audra and Nate share awkward glances as they herd Amy out the door. Nate’s just praying Lily won’t torch Damian before they figure out what game he’s really playing. Lily says she’s willing to give him a shot, but let’s be real: her BS radar is fully charged and ready.

And as for Victor? He’s doubling down. He tells Michael to pull the other two spies out of Jabot — but don’t you dare think he’s surrendering. Victor Newman doesn't "cave" — he crushes.
