Let’s get one thing straight—Summer Newman is not okay, and frankly, she hasn’t been for a while. She's been pretending to be all cool and collected while Claire sashays around Harrison like the new favorite nanny. But when she finally opens up to Chance (who, bless his heart, is trying to keep the peace), she drops the bomb: yes, she’s jealous, and no, she doesn’t like that Kyle treats Claire like she descended from heaven on a cloud of pure perfection.
Chance is grateful for her honesty, but he’s not signing up for this emotional rollercoaster. He calmly—too calmly—lets her know he’s not feeling this messy vibe. Sharon, forever the peacemaker, dares to suggest Alan might be getting framed. Cute theory, but Nick isn’t buying it either. He pulls up some light reading—aka, the terrifying psychological profile of Martin Laurent—and now everyone is officially on edge.
