Who the Hell Is Alan?
Let’s kick off with the scene that had everyone clutching their pearls: Traci, Ashley, and Jack confronting Alan. Chance is posted up like a security camera watching it all unfold as Traci, sweet summer child that she is, begs the man she thinks she loves to tell her the truth. Who is he? Alan? Martin?

Oh no, honey. Ashley drops the bomb: Alan’s dead and this man has been playing house as his brother. Traci's heart breaks while Martin clings to his performance. According to him, he’s Alan. But Jack’s not having it. “Arrest this psychopath!” he demands, like the dramatic icon he is.

The Farmhouse of Surveillance and Lies
Meanwhile, across town at Crimson Lights, Sharon, Nick, and Phyllis gather for what we’ll generously call a “friendly” debrief. Phyllis is practically vibrating with the need for revenge, wanting to nail whichever Laurent brother thought kidnapping her and Sharon was a cute idea.
The cops found enough surveillance gear in that farmhouse to rival the Pentagon, and both Sharon and Phyllis are still shaking off the trauma. But Phyllis? Oh, she’s not playing victim. She wants eye contact with her kidnapper. She wants to stare him down and serve emotional justice with a side of sass. Sharon, ever the composed one, just hopes Chance gets those fingerprint results yesterday.
Martin the Manipulator Gets Checked
Back with the Abbotts, Martin’s out here giving Gaslight: The Musical as he pleads with Traci to believe he’s still Alan. Ashley, channeling every woman who’s ever had enough, explodes. “Say it one more time,” she hisses.
Ashley reminds everyone that if Tucker hadn’t shown up that night in Paris, who knows what Martin would’ve done. Meanwhile, Jack’s ready to throw hands, but Chance steps in to keep things semi-legal. Martin’s arrested, but not yet cuffed, and starts begging like he’s auditioning for a pity party.
He insists he loves Traci. She asks if she was just an experiment. Cue the entire Abbott family blinking in synchronized disgust.
Sharon & Phyllis Deliver a Masterclass in Psychological Warfare
At the police station, Martin—still pretending to be Alan—is interrogated by Chance. And by “interrogated,” we mean Chance quietly seethes while Martin throws the entire Abbott family under the bus. He paints Jack as a druggie, Ashley as mentally unstable, and Traci as emotionally manipulated. I mean... all true.

Chance, cool as ever, warns that French fingerprint results are coming. Martin shrugs like, “Good luck, babes.”
But here’s where The Young and the Restless recap takes a gloriously sassy turn: Martin thinks he’s about to have a sit-down with Ashley and Traci, but in walk Sharon and Phyllis—cue the internal screaming.

He pounds the table, screams about being a misunderstood genius, and spills all the metaphorical beans. It's the moment Y&R fans live for. He really is Martin.

Abbott Family Damage Control and a Sad Goodbye
While this firestorm rages on, Traci is back at the club spiraling, blaming herself for bringing a full-blown predator into their home. Ashley comforts her, Jack tries to play the steady hand, and Traci—sweet angel that she is—still feels guilty.
Eventually, she leaves to splash water on her face and has a soul-crushing flashback to Alan’s proposal. Remember when we all thought he was a dream guy? Yeah. Not so much. She slips off her engagement ring in a moment that screams both heartbreak and liberation.
Martin Arrested, Phyllis Victorious, Traci Healing
As Martin continues his rage-fueled meltdown in the interrogation room, Chance finally slaps the cuffs on him. He reads Martin his rights with the slow, satisfying authority of a man who knows he’s about to close a case that’s dragged on way too long.

Back at the club, Traci rejoins her siblings as Sharon and Phyllis arrive to deliver the final blow: Martin’s ego exposed him, and he’s been arrested. Traci apologizes again, but Sharon shuts it down—Traci was a victim too. Phyllis even lets her softer side peek out, just a little, before declaring the nightmare officially over.
