Y&R Full Episode Recap - Traci Joins Sharon & Phyllis to Apolgize for Alan/Martin - Monday, April 14, 2025 [SPOILERS]

In Monday's The Young and the Restless full episode recap, everyone from Victoria to Diane gets tangled in drama, deceit, and deep feelings. From emotional breakthroughs to explosive confrontations, this Y&R recap has all the juicy details you missed.

Victoria's Got Opinions

Victoria | Y&R, CBS SONY

Victoria, perched at Crimson Lights with a perfectly curated project and a vibe of “I’m over it,” tells Nick it’s high time he stopped playing superhero to every emotionally unstable ex he’s ever dated. Seriously, has he ever heard of boundaries?

Nick, Y&R

He begs her to hold down the fort for a little while longer—just a week or two—but Victoria’s face screams, “Boy, bye.” She thinks it’s asking too much, and she says it—because she knows that man needs a break from Sharon’s lifetime movie-level drama.

Meanwhile, at Society, Sharon and Phyllis are having their moment of “trauma bonding” over the human dumpster fire that was Martin. They’re sipping drinks and dishing on how much they hope the man rots in prison. Sharon shares that she and Nick are jetting off to London, and Phyllis, surprisingly, doesn’t fall off her chair. She even manages a nod and a smile—growth?

Jack and Diane: Trust Issues & Tangled Emotions

Jack and Diane are discussing how living with a psychopath has become so very on-brand for their family while out for lunch. Traci is shattered, and Jack’s trying to juggle being her rock while also babysitting Diane’s latest emotional spiral.

Diane’s mad that Jack confided in Ashley but not her. Oh, the betrayal! Jack assures her he did it to protect her, which doesn’t make her feel better. She’s offended, outraged, and doing her best “I’m still the outsider” routine. Someone get this woman a diary and a therapist.

Sharon, Phyllis & Traci: The Martin Mess Aftermath

Over at the restaurant, Traci gives Sharon and Phyllis the update: Martin is definitely going down. They’re relieved but still visibly haunted. Traci’s blaming herself for inviting the monster to Genoa City, but Sharon and Phyllis—yes, those two—are practically holding hands in solidarity. Turns out trauma really is the ultimate icebreaker.

Phyllis wants answers, demanding to know when Traci first suspected Martin was a fraud. But Traci’s not interested in playing detective anymore. Sharon steps in with her patented calm, therapeutic wisdom and tells Phyllis to stop looking for someone else to blame. And for once, Phyllis actually listens.

Victoria Questions Nick’s Hero Complex (Again)

Back at Crimson Lights, Victoria keeps poking the bear—AKA her brother—about his endless quest to rescue Sharon from her demons. She jokes that she doesn’t need saving herself because, well, she’s never tied to a train track of emotional doom. Nick claps back with, “Every other month,” and honestly, he’s not wrong. But Victoria’s not laughing. She wants to know: Is he trying to get back with Sharon? Because if this is about rekindling that old flame, she needs a heads-up—and possibly a barf bag.

Family Drama, Dysfunction & Diane’s Wounded Ego

At lunch, Diane just cannot stop whining about being excluded. She’s offended that Jack didn’t loop her in on Traci’s plan to confront Martin. She brings up Harrison—because dragging kids into emotional manipulation is her love language. Jack explains that Traci was determined to deal with Martin herself, and honestly, Diane needs to take several seats.

But instead of chilling out, Diane doubles down on the whole “the family doesn’t trust me” angle. Traci might try to love her, but the rest of the Abbott clan? Not so much. She even tells Jack to focus on Traci and ignore her insecurities—right after demanding emotional validation. The logic? Missing.

Sharon, Phyllis & Traci Form the Unlikeliest Sisterhood

The three ladies keep their emotional heart-to-heart going, now with tears, empathy, and a little self-loathing. Traci’s blaming herself for loving Martin. Sharon shuts that down real quick. “Love yourself first,” she says, and Phyllis even agrees. When Phyllis is the voice of compassion, you know we’re living in an alternate universe.

They share a moment—hands across the table, soft music vibes, like a twisted Hallmark moment—but genuine. Traci says she’s meeting an old friend for dinner (hello, Amy Lewis!), and she’s thinking about writing again. Because if you’re going to heal, you might as well write a bestselling book about it.

Nick’s Departure & Victoria’s Unfiltered Opinions (Again)

Victoria, still in “bossy sister” mode, makes sure Nick knows she’ll be watching their dad like a hawk. She wishes him a safe trip and tells him to hug Noah for her. But not before taking a jab at his love life, suggesting she’d actually prefer a Sharon reunion over a Phyllis redo. That’s how low the bar is. Nick insists he’s not rekindling anything. Victoria rolls her eyes so hard, you could hear it.

Diane and Traci’s Bittersweet Exchange

At the club, Traci runs into Diane and actually gives her a genuine moment of forgiveness. She regrets shutting Diane down when she knew something was off with Martin. They might not braid each other’s hair anytime soon, but it’s progress. Traci jokes about starting the “Martin Laurent Survivors Club” with Sharon and Phyllis—because if you don’t laugh, you cry—and shares that she’s heading to New York. Ashley’s tagging along, and Traci’s hoping to lose herself in her writing again.

Diane hugs her, Jack hugs her, and everyone cries. Traci assures Jack she knows he’ll always be there for her, and for once, we believe her.

Sharon & Phyllis: Emotional Progress with a Side of Sass

Phyllis, who’s apparently not going to London or New York or anywhere else, thanks Sharon for not letting her dump all her trauma on Traci. Sharon returns the love, and they share an awkward hug that almost turns emotional—but not quite. Because Phyllis has a startup to launch with Billy and no time for messy goodbyes.

Phyllis Wraps It Up with Classic Snark

Back on the phone with Daniel, Phyllis is doing her best mom thing, ordering cheeseburgers and telling her kids to chill. She’s fine. She’s got work. She’s got her snark. And most importantly, she’s got Billy waiting to build a company with her. When he texts back “What the hell is LTD?” she hits him with a mic-drop reply: “Let’s do this.”
