Y&R Recap | Audra's Ready to Pounce when Nate Leaves Town with Amy for Treatment - Wednesday, April 23, 2025 [SPOILERS]

Wednesday's The Young and the Restless had potential miracles, devilish smiles and guitar lessons no one asked for. Daniel asks Tessa to teach him how to play the guitar, Amy was rushed away for a miracle treatment and Audra... oh Audra is ready to finish her deal with Victor. Let's get into it!

Daniel's Guitar Dreams and Tessa’s Saint-Like Patience

Oh, Daniel. Sweet, lost Daniel. Instead of finding a therapist like a normal person, he decides what he really needs in life is guitar lessons — and who better to suffer through his musical midlife crisis than Tessa (now 100% more blonde)? Yes, Tessa, who clearly didn't have enough problems, now gets to babysit Daniel through every wrong chord and butchered strum.

Y&R Spoilers for April 21-25

Dinner Dates, Diagnoses & Delusion

Meanwhile, Nate is juggling calls with Dr. Kelly while playing host to Damian and Amy, who spent the day frolicking around her old Genoa City hangouts like they didn’t have life-threatening news hanging over them. Over dinner, the bomb drops: Amy’s reacting so well to treatment that she might be heading to some fancy Boston facility. Sounds great, right? Well, not if you're broke, and Amy immediately starts spiraling about the costs. Damian, naturally, goes full macho, pounding his chest about "having this covered."

Nate tries to be the voice of reason — reminding everyone not to measure for drapes in Boston just yet — but Damian’s already calling charter jets like he’s on an episode of The Bachelor. Amy tears up because, of course, the emotional manipulation hits harder than the diagnosis.

Phyllis & Billy: Bickering Like It’s a Full-Time Job

Across town, Sally and Audra are gossiping over dinner, because what else do they ever do? Sally’s losing her mind over Phyllis, who’s apparently living rent-free in Sally’s head. Sally insists she's NOT threatened, but her five-minute rant says otherwise. Audra, never one to pass up an opportunity for chaos, basically tells Sally to sabotage Phyllis by any means necessary. Poison her reputation, play dirty — it's Genoa City, honey, not church camp.

Meanwhile, Billy and Phyllis are having their own passive-aggressive showdown at his place. She’s convinced Daniel joining Abbott Communications is the key to world peace. Billy? Not so much. He’s over Phyllis trying to live vicariously through her son and would like her to let the poor guy breathe, thank you very much. He lays it out: Daniel’s heart isn’t in it, and pretending otherwise is going to end in flames. Naturally, Phyllis listens... said no one ever.

Holden, Audra & Sally

Enter Holden — tall, brooding, and clearly still carrying a torch for Audra, who’s pretending he’s invisible. Sally, being the meddler she is, notices immediately and pesters Audra for the details. Audra, of course, lies through her teeth, but it’s obvious Holden’s not exactly over whatever they had going on. Holden later pops over trying to buddy up to Nate, who wisely gives him the brush-off. Sadly for Holden, thirst is not a personality trait.  BTW, it seems Holden was wearing a leather shirt!

As soon as Sally leaves, Holden slithers over to the bar, watching Audra like she’s the last donut at an office party. Meanwhile, Audra’s got bigger plans, because nothing says "moving on" like plotting a hostile corporate takeover.

Daniel’s First Guitar Lesson: A Disaster in Motion that NONE of us Need

Back in the "someone save me" section of Genoa City, Daniel shows up with a guitar that probably costs more than Tessa’s car. Does it help his playing? Absolutely not. Tessa, like the patient saint she is, teaches Daniel a few chords while trying not to grimace. When Daniel finally manages one halfway-decent note, you can practically hear the angels sing... or maybe that’s just Tessa sighing in relief that it’s over.

Daniel explains why he didn’t ask his dad for help: he needs someone who’ll be brutally honest, not someone who’ll tell him he’s a prodigy when he’s barely banging out "Smoke on the Water." At least he’s self-aware, I guess.

Sally Interrupts Billy & Phyllis

While Daniel butchers basic chords, Sally walks in on Billy and Phyllis having yet another squabble. Billy’s reached his breaking point: if Phyllis can’t stop meddling, there’s no partnership. Period. Phyllis, never one to take a hint, storms out in a huff. Sally, witnessing this hot mess, simply raises an eyebrow because frankly, no one has the energy to be surprised anymore.

Billy explains the situation, looking like he’s aged ten years in one conversation. Honestly, someone get that man a drink — and maybe a vacation.

Farewell, Tears & Future Schemes

Back at Nate’s, it’s goodbye time. Amy’s heading off to Boston with Damian and Nate playing the roles of supportive male cheerleaders. Audra arrives just in time to give Amy a teary goodbye and, of course, swears she’ll be praying for her daily.

As soon as Audra’s alone, she’s on the phone with Victor. She wants to make sure her new company is ready to roll, flashing a grin so devilish even the Devil himself would take notes.
